Vence is a beautiful, medieval village full of interesting shops, charming restaurants and cafes, stunning art galleries, a picturesque cinema and a local farmers market that takes place every morning in Place du Grande Jardin, a quintessential French square in the centre of town, where you can also watch and play Petanque, the game of boules.
In Place du Grand Jardin and the historic centre there is also on every Tuesday and Friday a big market with clothes, bags, jewellery etc. Wednesday is for Antiques and second-hand books. Every Saturday morning there is a fresh food market with the local bio products.

Impressive from start to finish

The house is wonderful, in lovely grounds with great facilities. We stayed with our 2 sons aged 16 and 12. They loved the pool, using the gym weights, playing basketball and darts. We played cards before dinner on the terrace. The house is located between Vence (small market town, with medieval centre) and Tourettes sur Loup (very attractive medieval hill top village). It’s 15 minutes to St Paul de Vence and 30-35 mins to the beach. Marie is the perfect host. She oozes style in her interactions with her guests. She was unfailingly friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. Her house is beautifully furnished with a well-stocked kitchen. We can easily recommend a stay here.

Just Wow

We have recently returned from a 2 week stay in this wonderful property. From the sumptuous welcome pack, the beautifully decorated and well equipped villa , the pool to the beautiful views - everything lived up to expectation. Marie was a joy to deal with and answered any queries promptly. She even kindly sent on a couple of items that we left behind which was much appreciated. Excellent property in beautiful Vence!

Excellent, relaxing stay at Villa Marelle 25-30.5.2017. During my stay I explored both Vence and some beatiful villages nearby. Also made a daytrip to Ventimiglia Italy by train one day. Very nice hiking routes all over. A perfect place for active people, food - , and wine lovers. Highly recommendable

My husband and I visited Vence over 20 years ago and not only fell in love with the area but essentially never left. Early morning coffee next to the ancient fountains in the squares, lovely outdoor concerts, many art galleries, so much history everywhere, or the proximity to beautiful beaches, a lot of activities, the peace and quiet of hiking through the cool local forests, it all fascinates us still after so many years. There is no doubt this will be also your holiday of a lifetime.

What makes this property unique

Besides it's stunning location and panoramic views, you will enjoy every benefit there is to living on the French Riviera. Shopping, Hiking, Golfing, Biking, Horse-back riding, Kayaking, Wine Tasting, Beach Going, Swimming, Sunning, Relaxing, Strolling around in the middle of the history and the ancient villages! And don't forget eating! You've never had better food in your entire life than here on the Cote d'Azur!
