The perfect spot for a quiet “couple’s retreat” or a relaxing "girls' getaway". The main floor of this bright, comfortable house is the perfect base for your stay in "The County". It's on a quiet one-way street a block from Picton's downtown.

The apartment is lovely and perfect for 1 or 2 adults (a guest or two can also stay on the comfortable and private sofa bed) and it works well for a small dinner party. You can walk to the centre of town in five minutes and browse the shops, restaurants, art galleries, the Regent Theater and more. You’ll find the well designed, well-equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. After dinner, you can stream free movies and shows or log in to your own subscriptions using Roku on the smart TV (sorry - no satellite or cable). If you want to read, talk, play a game or just relax, the sitting room is the perfect place. The bathroom is spacious and pretty with good water pressure, a rain shower/deep tub and clean, line-dried towels. The bedroom is cozy with a very comfortable queen-sized bed and clean, cotton percale sheets (also line-dried). The sofa bed in the TV room is private and also comfortable. You'll be happy you booked with us and you'll be back!

It's all scent-free and I operate it in an environmentally conscious way.

NOTE – I love dogs but I need to know about yours at time of booking (The rules say small well-behaved and non-shedding but I’m known for my flexibility so let’s talk.)

Relaxing getaway!

We had a lovely stay with Megan. She provided a wealth of information for the surrounding area and was a quick text away if we had any questions. The place is absolutely perfect, filled with light, plants, and trinkets. The photos simply don’t do it justice! Located just a few steps away from picton’s Main Street, this is the perfect place to stay for two when in Picton!

Our First Winter Trip

We have stayed in this property many times, but never in the winter before. It was just as good as in the summer, but this time Megan cleared the snow off our car (twice).

Fab place, fab location, fab communications!

The pictures online did not do this place justice - it was roomy, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated in a charming, eclectic style! The kitchen was bright and had everything we needed. we especially appreciate our host's warmth and sense of humour. He communications were prompt, clear, detailed and made us grin. It's a quiet and picturesque location, a 5 minute walk to the main street with food, bars and shopping. I will be back!
