A contemporary studio with off road parking in a quiet village, centrally located in Cornwall. Large shower, kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave/oven, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. 2 min walk from a highly rated pub/restaurant that also offers breakfast from 8am onwards.

There is a bathroom with Iarge quadrant shower with electric shower, sink, toilet and towel heater. A kitchen with microwave/oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, fridge/freezer. There is no hob. The restaurant the plume of feathers is a 2 min walk away and there is another restaurant called 'the fox's revenge' a 10 min drive away that also does amazing take away pizzas. There is a smart tv in the room and a speaker to connect your music player device to. There is a standard double bed and a pull out double sofa bed. We can provide a cot and highchair for the little ones if needed. We welcome guests with their pets for a small extra fee of £10/night. More than one pet will need to be pre-approved by us.

The studio is completely separated from our house. There is a communal drive/courtyard where you can park your car and/or sit outside on the bench. The courtyard is a real sun trap. There is a gate that can be closed if couples with a young child want to let the little one run around in the courtyard.

There is a library with books about Cornwall to inspire you. We can also give you local tips and suggestions for your stay in Cornwall (sporty activities, surfspots, kids activities, walks, beaches, dog friendly places, restaurants, pubs,...)

We live in a small cornish village called Mitchell, centrally located and near the A30. (You will not have any problems with road noise though in the accommodation). There is a brand new kids play field, ping pong tables and a football field in the village. Our studio is a 2 min walk from the Plume of Feathers, a highly rated pub/restaurant. The Plume of feathers is a dog and kids friendly place. There is a nice beer garden to enjoy a drink when the sun is out. A short drive or 40min walk through the countryside brings you to another very nice restaurant called 'the Fox's revenge'. It has a great outdoor space. There is a 'pick your own' fruit farm (strawberries, raspberries,...) at one end of the village (great fun for the kids) and a rose farm at the other end. Every saturday there is a big car boot sale in the village. Mitchell is ideally located to explore cornwall. It's very central location is absolutely perfect to visit the east, west, north and south of cornwall. We are right in the middle between Newquay and Truro.

There is off road parking and also plenty of parking along the road. There is a bus stop at the start of the village a 5 min walk away from the studio. We can also get you in contact with the local taxi company 'Mitchell Private Hire' that can take you wherever you want to go. They also do tours to show you around in Cornwall. They can pick you up from the train station or airport if needed.

Well behaved (no barking, house trained,...) pets are welcome. We treat our dogs like family because we believe they are people too. Please count your dog as a person when booking the request so they can be counted as an additonal person on the reservation. The small amount we charge for an extra person (£10/night) helps us to shampoo the carpets and do all of the other things that allow us to clean your room to the never know that your pet was in their space. We provide chews and treats so your pet will immediately feel at home. We can provide dog bowls, crate, rug/dogbed if requested at no additional cost. A professional dog walker can be arranged for an additional fee. Please read the house rules for further information about rules for pets. The tv is a smart tv with all the catchup apps installed. There is no areal connection, so you can only watch tv through the catch tv apps (live or older programs) We can explain you how to do this if your are not used to use smart tv's. The kitchen has a microwave/oven but no hobs. There is a very nice restaurant called 'The plume of feathers' a 2 min walk away. They also offer breakfast from 8am onwards. Our place is ideal for couples with or without a small child (we can provide a cot and high chair). There is a sofa bed so a maximum of 4 people can stay but this might make the space a little bit tight, especially when staying for a longer time. House rules: No smoking. No parties. Pets are not allowed on the bed or sofa. We would prefer pets not to be left on their own at the premises for long periods of time. We can arrange a pet sitter/walker at an extra cost if necessary. Please bare in mind that younger pets (kittens, puppies,..) should not be left unattended if they are likely to cause damage (scratching,chewing,...) Any damage caused by pets will have to be reported and paid immediately. Please make sure your pet has been treated for fleas and worms before visiting. Please note it is your responsibility to: 1/ Report any damages immediately. We could ask for payment to cover for repairs if the damage is caused by yourself. 2/ Ensure all washing up is done and all waste has been placed in the bin. 3/ Leave the property in a clean and respectable condition upon departure
