3 Bedrooms and 3 bathrooms overlooking the garden of a 15th century palace
This spacious apartment at the second floor of a Gran Canal Palace in the Dorsoduro area right by Campo San Barnaba is composed of three double bedrooms (two doubles and one with two singles), a dining room, a large living room, a fully fitted kitchen, three bathrooms with tub and a small room with a single bed. It is very tastefully and carefully decorated, and all the bedrooms and the living room overlook the palazzo's private garden. All rooms have air conditioning and there is a lift but a flight of stairs must be made by foot.

Just a short email to let you know how much we enjoyed our Venitian trip. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed staying in your fantastic palazzo. You were more than helpful organising our transfers and greeting us on arrival. You have a wonderful home and it is filled with beautiful treasures. We will not hesitate to recommend you and your company to our friends. We hope to make a return trip in the future and look forward to another chance to experience Venice in its wonderful glory.

Thank you Fillipo for your wonderful home! The place is beautiful, well kept, lovely furnishings, and extremely spacious. The location is wonderful. The neighborhood is very charming, with local bars and pizza that were delicious. Venice is quite suitable for walking, and we found this location perfect if you want to be out of the way of heavy tourist areas but still accessible enough to explore. We had a family of 7 and everyone was comfortable. The provisions are all there, making it quite simple for a great visit. The description, photos and amenitites are all accurate. Fillipo and his staff helped with ground transportation and the information binder at the property helped with train and bus times and helpful neighborhood tips. I would recommend this property! If you get a chance, take a day to check out Padova. It is very easy to get there by train. The train station from this house is about a 20 min walk and the ride to Padova is only 30 mins at a cost of about 3 EUR each way. Check out the Scrovegni Chapel! Well worth an afternoon!
This apartment is bigger than one expects, a sharp contrast with the usual "puffing" one expects. The owners have understated rather than overstates it. It is enormous...spacious anywhere but in Venice truly astounding. The hostess was very helpful, direct, knowledgeable and efficient in answering our questions and checking us in and out. The internet connection went down and it was fixed within only a couple of ours of our calling her. This is a great vacation rental. One warning: the elevator goes only to every other floor. If being able to avoid steps is an issue, be sure your unit is one that is on the landing onto which the elevator opens.
Great apartment in fantastic location
The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. It is located on the first floor at the rear of Palazzo overlooking the internal garden, so it is quiet even though you have immediate access to the Grand Canal. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff at Views on Venice were very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this apartment to a family who want the comfort of an apartment and want to be centrally located and in walking distance of the major attractions of Venice.
The appartement was great and had a prime location
We greatly enjoyed our stay with Views of Venice at this appartement with a prime location. The experience started already at the airport where they had arranged (in agreement with us) for a boat taxi to pick us up and take us to the apartment. This is warmly recommended and gives you a sightseeing on the way in. The boat taxi let us of just outside the appartement and the historic sense of Venice was imidiate. The appartement was large, well performed combining history and modern functionality. It was nicely decorated and well situated for our two families. We loved it! Thanks for a great stay.
My husband and I travel with tow other couples who are longtime friends. We usually take cruises but felt that we wanted to stay longer in Italy than just a couple of days here and there. So we rented apartments in Venice, Florence and Rome. Our first experience in Venice was wonderful. The location of this apartment is in a quieter location of Venice, but is easily accessible to the vaporetto stop so we were able to go anywhere we wanted. The apartment has updated bathrooms. we enjoyed the ability so visit in both the living and dining areas. The only problem is that there are stairs from the elevator to the apartment- so I would not recommend this for people with disabilities-but there are stairs all over Venice!
We have just left this wonderful property after a three night stay, but we should have stayed longer. It is everything that is advertised, quiet, spacious, clean and such an amazing location. You are in an old palace right on the Grand Canal in the Dorsodoro neighbourhood, but the way they have redesigned the space, it is amazingly quiet. It is very close to the vaporetto, a grocery store and a nice square with restaurants. We were trying to avoid the craziness of San Marco which was extremely busy and noisy. Venice can be difficult to navigate, but we were given an excellent map and the opportunity to ask how to get to various spots where we had tours, etc and this was so helpful (she marked it all on the map for us). In fact part of the charm of this trip for us was the Views on Venice staff who met us right at the front (water) door and explained how everything worked and where to find what we needed. We were so exhausted after a long trip through several time zones and this place gave us the space we needed to decompress, everyone had a corner to retreat to, if needed. I will say the wifi was excellent in the living room, but not elsewhere in the apartment. A nuisance, perhaps, but for us no big deal. One further item, we arranged our airport and train station transfers through the office and that was very convenient and they were all reliable. If you are looking for. Great place to stay in Venice, look no further!
