About this property

A completely self contained gite with open plan fully equipped kitchen/dining/living room and one bedroom with en suite shower. There is a private, fully enclosed and secluded south facing garden with patio area, secure parking and a charging point for electric vehicles available for a small fee.

The property was completely renovated in 2016 and is all on ground floor level which makes it ideal for people with limited mobility. The gite has everything you need for a comfortable stay - the kitchen is fully equipped with full size electric oven, 4 ring gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave and toaster. There is a comfortable seating area in the lounge which has a logburner, television with English or French TV channels and a DVD player. There is also free wifi. The bedroom has a double bed and storage and the shower room has a spacious corner shower cubicle and heated towel rail.

Please note that the minimum booking accepted is 2 nights.

Hot water and gas for the hob are included in the price, a complimentary basket of logs for the logburner is provided, further logs can be bought from us or compressed logs are available at supermarkets. All other electricity consumed will be charged at 30 cents/Kwh (the meter will be set to zero on arrival and read on departure) therefore you will only pay for the electricity you have used.

We are located in the hamlet of Quinoualc'h midway between La Feuillee, the highest village in Brittany, and Berrien on the D42.

The nearby town of Huelgoat (less than a ten minute drive) offers all the amenities needed to make your stay in this lovely area as comfortable as possible. There are banks, post office, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, tourist office, cinema and a pharmacy.

I'd stay here again in a heartbeat

What a lovely comfortable gite to stop in for a week or more if you want. The enclosed garden was perfect for both of us and our dog. Carolyn was a great host. The area is beautiful with facilities available within 5 minutes and Huelgoat only 15 minutes away. We loved everything. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thanks again Carolyn & Graham for a lovely break.

Weather was not so good but the gite was comfortable enough to just sit and relax in. Wood burner helped giving an homeLy evening. Small garden ideal for dog. All local amenities were very good and our hosts left us alone but were there if needed.

The cottage was really nice, surprisingly spacious due to the high ceilings. Well stocked with everything you would need. The garden was secluded and adequate for us to enjoy and the dog to run around. Caroline and Graham were very welcoming and helped us with a couple of issues, very good hosts. The internet was hit and miss, but we believe this to be an issue with the provider, despite the owners attempts to improve it.

Rural Idyll

A lovely location and immaculately presented. Carolyn and Graham were very welcoming and gave us useful local knowledge of the area. We will visit again. Very good location for exploring many places and also close to Roscoff ferry port.
