This has been our second stay at this well maintained and equipped holiday home. Very often a returning visit is not as good as the first time, but this was certainly not the case this instance.

As with our first visit, we were personally greeted on arrival by the owner. The large selection of toys games, books and videos has increased and as last time, they kept our grandchildren amused throughout the week.

We would certainly recommend this house to our friends and family or anybody who was looking for a large reasonably priced holiday home.

Lovely for a family get together

  • 5 of 5

Marlborough House was a wonderful place to celebrate my mums 85th birthday. 12 of us plus a toddler had a super weekend. Loads of walks across fields straight from the house. Beautiful lounge where we could all sit comfortably. Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking for the 12 of us and the welcome pack was an added bonus.

A great house for a large family gathering.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the farmhouse for a family wedding in the area. We were a large group of 2 families plus grandparents too and the house was perfect for us. It is spacious and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. As an added bonus the garden and grounds are huge and very peaceful.

On arrival, Tony welcomed us and kindly helped us with everything we needed to know. The welcome pack of supplies that were left in the fridge and kitchen were very gratefully received.

Thank you, we had a lovely stay and we all wished we could have stayed longer!

It is a fantastic area to stay in and I recommend this house for large groups.

Second visit as good if not better!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here last year for four days as a family gathering for family members scattered in England and Switzerland and enjoyed it so much that we booked the day we got back for five days this year. With an additional member of the family joining us this year (8 Months old), the 12 of us settled very quickly back into the farmhouse like it was a second home! the three other young children had been discussing their stay on Face Time for the last year but in the last few weeks had been very excited about getting together in the Big House as they call it. With all the comforts and amenities that you have at home it was a wonderful relaxed time knowing that there was so much for everyone to do in the grounds and inside too - the table football was especially appreciated by the children this time!!!! The booking and arrival arrangements are very clear and simple to follow and the welcome pack was what it says - welcome!! We would love to return but as the children are getting older, school holidays may interfere with our arrangements, but would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone considering a family gathering, whether it be a short break or longer. Thank you Tony for making our annual get together so very special!

A Great big house with packed full of things to do!

  • 5 of 5

Lovely house - very well set up for families. There were so many toys for both inside and outdoor use. Fab countryside location but lots to do within easy reach, including a great local swimming pool and trip to Camber Sands. We loved seeing the rabbits, ducks and peacocks in the garden!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were well equipped with good bedding and more than enough towels and toiletries. Thanks very much for letting us stay!

Ideal home for family gatherings of all ages!

  • 5 of 5

The house is ideal for family gatherings and is suitable for all ages.

There are toddler proof gates and beds and lots of games and activities for

older children. We were a party of 16 with ages from under a year through

to 77 and, with the addition of the annexe, we all had plenty of space so

as not to bump into one another. It is a beautiful house, but not so

pristene that you're living in fear of children touching and breaking

things! There is plenty of space outside for running around and Tony (the

landlord) could not have been more helpful both before and during our stay.

The essential supplies and welcoming cake provided for our arrival were

lovely touch. Thank you Tony for helping my Dad have a 70th Birthday

weekend celebration to remember

  • 5 of 5

We had 22 in a family group aged from 2 to 68. The facilities in the property were excellent., the grounds were huge and there was everything you could expect and more with a very helpful owner. The property was very clean and everything was as described with a generous welcome pack.

Plenty to do in the area for all ages and I would highly recommend this property to all ages
