Villa Suro's location and design makes for a perfect base for family holidays in a quiet away from it all environment which can easily accommodate up to two families with children to a total of 9 persons. It has full air conditioning throughout including all four bedrooms.

It is located in a semi rural area just 4 kilometres from the beaches at Sant Antoni, Palamos and Torre Valentino in just 10 to 15 minutes drive. Slightly further at around 20 minutes drive is La Fosca (our favourite), Platja D' Aro, S'Agarro and Sant Felieu.

If you prefer to enjoy the delights available at Villa Suro it includes , a private and not overlooked swimming pool. Patio areas with ample sun loungers , Shade sail, picnic table and bench, tables and various chairs , Charcoal hand built metal BBQ and area. The garden is 850 sq metres and the plot is triangular in shape which offers three different sections to the garden. There is a spacious first floor balcony to the rear of the property with tables and seating. There is also a large roof terrace accessed by a curved and guarded curved metal staircase from the dining area of the villa, A magnificent 360 degree view is obtained from this terrace including views of the sea, vineyards, countryside and Les Gavarres Hills.

There is a private and secure car parking area within the confines of the garden.

As you can see there are numerous spaces to spend quiet periods or to join in the main group fun as suits your mood. All of the beautiful scenery is in a peaceful and tranquil setting with an abundance of birds (and song) and butterflies.

The swimming pool / patio area is gated for safety of small children and the pool is entered by corner roman steps. The pool is 8 x 4 meters size and is 1 metre deep at one end and 2 metres at the other. There is ample lighting around the pool for late evenings as required.

The gardens with palm trees ,large lemon tree, various other plants and pool are well maintained throughout the year.

The villa is large and has undergone a complete internal modernisation in recent years including bathrooms,4 bedrooms, a spacious modern open plan living area with a well equipped kitchen and dining area with a fully fitted kitchen complete with granite worktops, Miele Oven, halogen hob, Bosch dishwasher, large family sized Bosch fridge/freezer and washing machine.

All windows and doors are aluminium double glazing. The window frames have retractable mosquito nets fitted in bedrooms and bathroom. The windows are also tilt and turn. The doors have high security locks fitted.

The property is fully air conditioned for those hot summer months in the living space. All four bedrooms were fitted with new Daikin air conditioning in April 2023 which are very energy efficient, quiet and effective.

Full high speed Wifi fitted which covers the property throughout.

The villa is fitted with a 24/7 monitored Securitas S.A. full burglar alarm system which covers all floors and entrance doors. That said this is a very low crime area but the alarm offers more piece of mind.

We have been renting through Homeaway and now VRBO (on takeover) since 2007 and consistently receiving a total of 43 very favourable reviews from clients over the period 2007 to present with an average of 4.8 out of 5 stars. This tends to suggest Villa Suro has been tried and tested by previous clients and found to be a great place to enjoy your family holidays. We also have a number of repeat bookings. We are situated just 4 kms from nearest beaches or 7 minutes drive. There are many other beach locations including. Playa D,Aro, S'Agarro and La Fosca are all within 20 minutes drive. There are coastal walks throughout the whole area. The vibrant family friendly and wonderful town of Palamos is just 15 minutes drive from us with its charming old town, beaches, fish restaurants and tapas bars.

The nearest supermarket is 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car.

The medieval town of Calonge with castle and town square with a few bars and eating places is 15 minutes walk from us. There are established hiking and cycle routes from Calonge. Cycle hire is also possible.

Girona is around 30 minutes drive and we are just 120kms from fabulous Barcelona. Both locations are steeped in history and culture.

Villa Suro can also very suitable for groups of cyclists or golfers.

The area is very popular with national and road cycling routes. We have garage facilities to keep securely all cycles and golf equipment.

There are several good quality golf courses within 40 minutes drive of the villa. The nearest being Club Golf D'Aro Mas Nou which is 15 minutes drive. PGA Catalunya, Girona at 30 minutes drive.
