Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: The rural village of Derwen is surrounded by countryside, farmland, wooded hills and the Clwydian and Berwyn Mountains. Close by, is Ruthin with its half-timbered buildings around St Peter's Square. Shops and buildings and the Ruthin Craft Centre, which houses work by internationally recognised artists is well worth a visit. Lakes Bala and Brenig, Moel Famau, Loggerheads Country Park and Llandegla and Clocaenog Forests are also nearby.
