300 year old rustic 3 bedroom finca

Hidden behind its electric gate is the finca C'an Catali. Approaching the house through its secluded courtyard, filled with bougainvillea, scented jasmine, lemon, orange and almond trees, passing the open dining area with its solid wood table and Mallorcan oven. The farmhouse has fresh flowers in the rooms and is furnished with antiques. There is a new kitchen and bathroom. The principle bedroom has a king size four poster bed and there are two twin bedrooms. Relax and enjoy a drink on the large terrace while watching the sun setting behind the mountains.

The house has all bed linen and bath towels, however you will need to bring your own beach towels. There is a twice weekly maid service.

Charming country house

My wife and I enjoyed a great stay in Ivor and Wendy's lovely home. It was like a 'home from home' and and had all the comforts we could have wished. It was beautifully furnished and the decor had an 'old world' quirky style. All amenities in Santa Maria were available and we managed to get all necessary provisions from the local Syp Eroski supermarket. Nearby restaurants were good and not too pricey. Visited a number of places including Palma, Soller, Valldemossa, Deia and Inca. Would certainly recommend this finca as a suitable stay for couples and families with grown-up children

Stunning property, tastefully furnished.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Santa Maria, the property itself is faultless, well kept and comfortable. The only negative was the tight squeeze through the gate, although it got easier with practice. Noisy party going on next door on the Thursday, very late into the night and loud banging from next door each morning, shame really. We only stayed 3 days, and saw the cleaner twice, as nice as she was....was a tad too frequent for our liking.

Car a big advantage. The town of Santa Maria is lovely, with other picturesque villages/towns nearby. It's a fabulous base with quick and easy access to the main carriageways to explore the rest of the island.

Nice house with garden and roof terrace

Very friendly owner. All things in good condition. We were two persons. Space is sufficient for six. We needed a car, as the house is 2 km away from Santa Maria.

The atmosphere is private. We would come again or recommend our friends.

A secret place for rest and relaxation

This villa is located in a perfectly private farm area. Just far enough away to enjoy some peace, but with quick access to the roads that will get you to some amazing coastal areas including Palma. We enjoyed the neighboring sheep who would stop by the bedroom windows with clonking cow bells, and the occasional thud of the lemons falling from the lemon tree. The upstairs terrace has a beautiful view of the mountain ranges and the olive groves, and the kitchen was clean and modern. We enjoyed wine and food out on the patio area at night, and tried to use as many lemons as we could for tasty cocktails. DO NOT miss out on the fine dining experience at the Moli De Torrent. Its an easy stroll down the road and the service is brilliant.

If I am ever in Mallorca again, I will be returning.

Located just outside the old market town of Santa Maria del Cami, our rustic finca, surrounded by almond groves is ideally placed to explore the local wine region. The house itself sits at the bottom of the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountain range, making it a perfect setting for outdoor activities including hiking, climbing, mountain biking and bird watching where the rare black vulture can be seen gliding majestically over the peaks.

Only 10 minutes from the cobbled streets and historic city of Palma, bustling with shops, boutiques and restaurants. We have easy access to many secluded coves and beaches with water sport facilities such as diving, sailing, wind surfing, water skiing etc. There are 10 golf courses nearby, including Son Antem Golf Resort & Spa.

For those of us who enjoy good food, the finca is just 100 metres from one of the top restaurants on the island.
