The grandest villa-apartment, with large interior and outdoor spaces to relax, work, enjoy life with friends and family, furnished with antiques and original art is perfect for families and groups. The terraces have amazing views of the coast and ocean all the way to the end of the island and the best view on the whole island of the famous volcano Teide. The villa-apartment offers 3 bedrooms, two with a king size bed and one with 2 single beds.

Discover the island, explore its nature and culture and come back to an elegant, well-designed home. After exploring the island, relax on your deckchairs with a glass of champagne and have a massage on your terrace. Enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars or, better yet, have our local cook (a housewife from town) teach you the secrets of local cuisine in your own kitchen.
Nested on a hillside between the base of the volcano and the ocean your apartment and terrace offers one of the most stunning view of the whole island: the green north coast with its spectacular sunsets and the massive volcano Teide, to the other side.
The apartment is a separate part of the villa in the very private neighbourhood. Beach and town are only a 3-min drive away. The kids are going to love the small local beach with black sand and a couple small Spanish restaurants right on the ocean and everybody loves the colonial town with its cafés and restaurants. It is a perfect home base to explore the island.

You want to enjoy your vacation and not worry about anything, so we include the following services: Wifi, personal concierge service, final cleaning, beach/pool & bathroom towels, bathroom amenities, linen, safety box, toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher and washing machine tabs, spices in the kitchen.

No TV (unless requested for long stays).

If you want to be active and explore, your concierge will help you organise an authentic, individual and exclusive island experience, far from mass tourism: climb the volcano, hike the hidden path, taste the traditional wines in small wineries, have authentic island meals in that back patio in the mountains that only locals know about.

We love personally meeting our guests, giving some advice on the island, answering questions and having a glass of wine with them.

The villas are located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, a 3 minutes drive from the beach with its restaurants and three minutes up the mountain into town. It is perfectly located for exploring the island and for hiking.

Icod de los Vinos sits right in the center of the emerald coast, known for its wines and colonial architecture. It lays just under the national park with plenty of hiking opportunities. Its beach, with its small restaurants and the coastal residential areas are called San Marcos and this is where Alberto Dorner is located.

Nearby: beach and restaurants, shopping, groceries, golf, tennis, hiking, yachting, colonial town center with cafes, medical facilities, pharmacy.

The south airport is about 1 hour drive away, and the north airport is about a 45 minutes

A lovely place to relax and enjoy the outstanding views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the "grand" apartment making it our home and base for seeing all the best that Tenerife Norte has to offer. We had brunch on the terrace, taking in the view of Teide, lunch on San Marcos beach then back to the apartment to light the BBQ before watching the sun set over Buenavista. It's only a short taxi ride to the beautiful port of Garachicho for supper at one of their fabulous fish restaurants or a short drive to the vineyards of the Orotava valley for wine tasting. The apartment is huge and has so many thoughtful touches that time spent in it is homely, relaxing and a pleasure. Many thanks to the team behind AD San Marcos. You helped us create many happy memories.

beautiful apartment
The 'grand' apartment is very stylishly furnished, comfortable and well equipped. The views are stunning from the three terraces and spacious rooms. Shame it wasn't warmer for us the week we stayed but there were heaters and blankets, which we made use of. The only drawback was the showers were poor, but when we contacted the manager he organised for this to be rectified and it was done promptly. The bathrooms were dated and in need of bringing up to the same standard as the rest of the property but this apparently is planned. However it wasn't really a problem and the rest of the amenities and accommodation made up for it. A car is a necessity for this location and there are several interesting places to visit all within close proximity. We visited Icod de los Vinos, San Marcos, Garrachico, mount Teide and Puerto de la Cruz. The staff and owner were all very helpful during our stay and we would definitely stay here again. There were several thoughtful touches provided to give our holiday a welcoming, luxury touch such as bath robes & slippers, complimentary toiletries, bar, fruit, towels for the beach and more. A lovely holiday.

A magical home in a great location.

Best place on Canary Islands
We have been vacationing on the Canary Islands for 20 years and this is definitively the best place so far. 1. Georgeous view: the whole north coast of the island, the atlantic and the vulcano Teide. 2. Amazing apartment: 280 sq metres, spacious, bright, elegant. The Canarian upper class style throughout the apartment. 3. Very friendly landlord, keeps the place like new: clean, everything works and is in perfect order. On arrival a big welcome basket was awaiting us with fresh fruits, wine, champagne, etc... The landlord -Mr. Gonzalez- invited us once to a typical rustic canarian wine dinner in the mountains and cooked a huge paella for the whole house, although we didn't attend the lunch as we were hiking. 4. Perfect location: beach close by with a couple of decent restaurant with local food; hiking trails minutes away; few tourists, no noise. We really loved it and we will come back next time we visit Tenerife again. Thank you, Mr. Gonzalez!

War sehr schön und wir sind super zufrieden!
Wir waren Ende Okt. 2019 für 12 Tage in Appartement D bzw. ‚Grand‘. Sehr nett und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das gilt für das Wohnzimmer, das separate Esszimmer und die 3 Schlafzimmer. Aber selbst die Badezimmer sind nett gestaltet. Man sieht, dass sich da jemand Mühe gegeben hat und es wirklich geschafft hat, die komplette Wohnung wohnlich zu gestalten. Glückwunsch, das ist gut gelungen! Es ist auch alles da, was man braucht, inkl. eigener Waschmaschine in einem getrennten Hauswirtschaftsraum in der Wohnung. Wirklich großartig sind die 3 überdachten Balkone, die alle komplett nutzbar sind. Und es gibt noch einen vierten Balkon nach hinten raus, nur zum Trocknen der Wäsche. Und das Appartement ist wirklich riesig groß. Die Kommunikation mit der Verwalterin war extrem schnell via WhatsApp in Englisch. Es wurde sofort geantwortet und alles sofort geklärt. Nachdem man gebucht hat, bekommt man Zugang zu eine App, in der alles enthalten ist, was man wissen muss. Sehr praktisch und gut gelöst. Wir war wirklich sehr zufrieden und werden wiederkommen.
