Spacious 7 bedroom house situated in the green heart of France not far from St Gervais d'Auvergne, close to the chain of vulcanos. There are plenty of lakes and activities, swimming, fishing, picnicking along the river the Sioule. The house has 4 bathrooms & toilets, large livingroom with fireplace, tv-lounge, wifi and flatscreen/dvd, fully equipted kitchen & 2 terraces with outdoor kitchen with bbq, & elecric plancher. Size of the garden 1500m2.There is an adundance of comfortable garden furniture, a large hand made wooden table (20), another under the nut tree.(smaller)Indoor heated pool, 31 degree( with a jet-swim & surround sound, blue tooth music),leads on to patio. indoor pool-table & games room.Indoor cinema(15seats) room.

Beautiful farmhouse in a wonderful setting

This farmhouse was well equipped and is set in a beautiful scenic area, great for families with lots to keep you entertained. The owner was lovely and very helpful. We had a lovely holiday and were refreshed and relaxed, would highly recommend.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé 3 jours dans cette magnifique maison à l'occasion d'une réunion de famille. La maison est très bien équipée avec des chambres spacieuses et bien décorées. L'espace loisir avec cinema, billard et piscine a ravi tout le monde ! Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de l'extérieur puisque nous sommes en hiver mais avons observé que la propriété dispose d'atouts certains. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce gîte.

Endroit idéal

Nous avons passé un super week-end en famille. Les plus jeunes ont beaucoup apprécié la piscine. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Très bonne location

La maison est conforme à l’annonce et nous avons été agréablement surpris par tous les équipements proposés par l’hôte. Paradis des enfants avec des jeux intérieurs et extérieurs. Salle de jeux au top (dommage qu’elle soit pas plus lumineuse) et la salle de cinéma a conquis les enfants ! Seul bémol pour nous, la chaleur dans cette salle de jeux et les chambres du deuxième étage mais la clim devrait être posée prochainement. Chambres très spacieuses, et literie parfaite. Bon juste le fait que ça soit des rideaux et pas des volets nous a un peu dérangé mais rien de grave on a trouvé des solutions. Hôte très réactive et sympathique. C’est un peu loin de tout mais on déconnecte !

My husband, being a builder is always fascinated with different projects, and he came across one here in France.Within a year we were living here, not intentionally, but we just fell in love with this part of France. They call it one of France's best kept secrets.The water casket . Lakes and rivers, so many to visit and passion is renovating old properties. This is one of them. It has been hard work, but most enjoyable.

Why they chose this property

This property has a story. A strange, happy one, that i would be happy to share. It's a story that describes how France was, not so long ago. A trusting story, that intrigued me, so much so, that it lead to the purchase of this dear farmhouse. We choose houses that seem to jump out at us. This is just that.Hopefully we have given it the love it deserved, we have definitely enjoyed the journey.

What makes this property unique

This farmhouse had so much potential, right from the beginning. The atmosphere was so tranquil and calm.We have used this to the benefit of making it an ideal holiday home with a 'wow'. That is usually the first expression from clients when they arrive.Naturally an indoor heated pool helps, but the house and its surroundings are so rural, with wonderful walks, beautiful lakes, all close by.The combination of tranquillity with simplicity is what makes the magic.
