This holiday bungalow is situated on the unspoiled beach very closed to the small traditional Latsi fishing village and the charming small town Polis. This elegant bungalow is only a few steps from a secluded beach with the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

The garden is furnished with a table to dine al fresco, a bar to have your morning coffee or afternoon drink while enjoying beautiful sunsets. Two sun loungers, a beach umbrella are also available and an open air shower.

The blue flag public beach is just 500 meters away offering sunbeds, ombrelas and access to the sea to people with dissabilities. (the only one in Cyprus!)

PART OF PARADISE: Arsinoe beach together with Latsi harbour is a wonderful location to just relax and soak up the endless sunshine of the Cypriot summer, whether it will be swimming in the warm, clear waters of the Mediterranean, sunbathing or watching harbour life from the comfort of a quayside taverns with a cold beer or glass of wine!

The scuba diving and water sports centre in Latsi offers the ideal opportunity to either start lessons in scuba diving or extend your experience in the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean. The centre also offers jet skiing, surfing, water skiing and snorkelling. A range of boats is available for hire from Latchi harbour including speedboats, and traditional boat cruises are also available.

ENJOY NATURE: For keen walkers and cyclists, the nearby Akamas National Park offers a veritable paradise of endless walks and cycle ways, wild animals and birds, fauna, fantastic sea views and secluded coves with sandy beaches. Akamas is included in the official UNESCO world's heritage list of cultural and natural treasures. Please note cycles can be hired locally in Polis.

For golfers, there are three quality, panoramic, courses within an hour’s drive, all open to visitors, namely the Aphrodite Hills, the Secret Valley and Tsada Golf Clubs.

Eating out, whether it be lunch or dinner, is one of the real pleasures of holidaying in the region. There are few locations blessed with finer restaurants and taverns than Latsi and Polis. The local establishments are renowned for their wonderful use of fresh fish and local produce at very reasonable prices.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Hello Johannes,

Thank you for coming and staying in our villa at Latsi. I hope you had a good time and enjoyed yourselves.

Hello Christos

Very much indeed.

The property was easy enough to find. Although we had to drive in the dark (our plane was late) from Larnaca Airport we followed the instructions and found the place without further delay.

The bungalow and its setting are most beautiful and we enjoyed every minute we were there. It's great to be able to jump into the sea right from the bed. Moreover we have rarely found such a nicely equipped holiday home. The welcome pack was quite unexpected and added further to our delight.

Latsi Village is good enough for shopping. I guess in the middle of summer it gets really crowded there, but in June it wasn't that bad. For extensive swimming we often went nearer to Akamas peninsula where the water is often very flat. And hiking on Akamas is really nice, too.

Excellent located well appointed bungalow.

  • 4 of 5

The bungalow was virtually on the beach with only a footpath to cross before the beach so it was ideal for us as we wanted a beach type holiday. In addition the long garden was a bonus with plenty of sunny and shady places to relax. We found the equipment in the bungalow was very comprehensive even down to an electric orange squeezer which we used daily.

It was a short walk into Latchi and the many fish restaurants but we preferred Polis which we drove to as the footpath route was badly lit.

We were pleased with the welcome pack and the clear instruction to the place.

This was one of the better places we have visited and was as described.

The only real downside was that work was being done on sea defense breakwaters which was disruptive at times. Not sure of the duration of the work though.

Perfectly idyllic!

  • 5 of 5

The beach bungalow was everything we could've wished for and more. Ideal location right on the beach meant we swam every day with only a short picturesque walk into Latchi harbour with all its amenities. Christos the owner is so helpful and responds immediately to any queries. When we arrived there was milk, bread, marg, water and even a Keo beer to welcome us - fantastic! The bungalow is superbly kitted out with a lovely big fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, cooker, BBQ, hot water (very!) even a hairdryer! Lots of local info and maps too which was really useful.Sitting out in the garden - whether on the patio, bar stools or sunbeds (spoilt for choice!) for our meals, drinks, watching the world go by - it's the stuff dreams are made of. Thank you Christos we had the most fabulous holiday and hope to return very soon!

Lovely, quiet beach accommodation

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here over Christmas and had the beach to ourselves. The villa is so close that you can hear the waves crashing on the shore from the bedroom, which is a lovely sound to go to sleep to and wake up to. We stayed there with our 2 year old son and while the villa is small, it's well equipped. There was a travel cot provided as well as a high chair and the kitchen had everything you would need. We loved the back yard as it's enclosed by a fence (one of only a few on this row) meaning that our son couldn't wander off and we could play football with him in the yard as well as taking him to the beach. There were also some beach toys and bucket and spade at the property which he enjoyed as well as a barbecue that we made use of.

The beds were comfortable and there was adequate storage room for our clothes and cases. The area was nice and quiet during the Christmas holidays and in a lovely location. There's a playground on the beachfront about a 5 minute walk away, towards Latchi (which is about a 10 min walk) and Polis was about a half hour walk. We also drove to a few wineries (within 30-40 mins) and to Paphos (also 30-40 mins).

The beach was lovely and quiet and most days it felt like we had it to ourselves. For a beach holiday this is a perfect place to stay as you literally walk out of the door and onto the beach.

Wonderful Holiday in Latsi

  • 5 of 5

We spent 1 week in this wonderful location and enjoyed every moment thanks to the well-maintained house and direct situation on the beach. The house was clean and well-kept, the contact before very friendly and supportive and everything was even much better than expected, but corresponded absolutely to the description of the website. The most exciting is probably the see which you see and listen to from the house and even from the bed. The terrace is clean with beautiful plants and palm trees inviting for breakfast in the sun. And the best is for sure the beach and the crystal clear water 20 m away. The place of Latsi is small and friendly with a handful of restaurants serving delicious local food and also tasty local wines. Children are welcome everywhere. Apart from swimming there are plenty of activities to endulge in like boat cruising, diving, trips to the mountains... We would come again any time and thank the owner and housekeeper warmly.

Very nice beachfront bungalow at quiet beach

  • 5 of 5

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely beachfront bungalow in Latsi. It's only a few steps from the living room through the backyard to the sea – returning from a swim to the outdoor shower at the house is more than pleasant. The unit, situated between two similar appartments, is clean and well equipped with everything you need for a relaxed stay, the kitchen is well equipped even for an ambitioned cook.

The port of Latsi with a few attractive restaurants, bars and a well stocked supermarket is a 10mins walk along the beach.

Christos, the friendly owner, was always quickly available for help.

We sure would come back!

Latsi is situated in the North-West corner of Cyprus, nestling between the small picturesque town of Polis (Polis Chrysochous) and the beautiful Akamas peninsula National Park. This is a stunning region of Cyprus, steeped in history and offering wonderful country and coastal walks and cycling.

The main town of the region is Paphos, some 35 km away. Paphos was first inhabited during the Troan war when ancient Greeks were lost trying to find their way back home. In the Greco-Roman times was the island's capital. Among its attractions are the world-famous ancient mosaic floors, a beautiful old harbour with it's Medieval castle and restaurants situated along the promenade. Other sights include an archaeological museum, the Tombs of the Kings, St. Paul’s Pillar and the Temple of Aphrodite (the goddess of love and beauty). Further inland is the old town of Paphos, known by the locals as Ktima, with its narrow streets, hustle and bustle, covered market and a typically Cypriot atmosphere.
