With room to accommodate four guests, it consists of a very spacious master bedroom & ensuite with a Super- King bed. The second room is small and consists of a standard double bed with small chest of drawers.

We would highly recommend this property as an excellent place to stay when visiting London.
The property is very well furnished & equipped. We were very happy with the high standard of cleanliness and the host could not have been more helpful. It is just a short walk from the nearest tube station and there is an abundance of excellent eateries and pubs within a few minutes walk of the apartment. We would definitely recommend this apartment has an excellent place to stay when visiting London.

Beautiful apartment in Central London
This bright, comfortable, stylish apartment on a quiet street in peaceful Clerkenwell has twice been a pure pleasure to stay in. From the chic master bedroom suite to the well-furbished kitchen and the lovely living room with gas fireplace, this is a perfect base for exploring the highlights of London. It is close to many Underground stops, a ten-minute walk to Saint Paul's Cathedral, the Thames River and Tate Modern. The pleasant owner responds almost instantly to communications and bends over backward to accommodate requests. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who loves London.

Almost perfect
We were extremely happy with the location, the process of booking and all communication with the owner before and during if needed. The facilities were great including an excellent kitchen with all the necessary utensils including sharp knives which is unheard of! Our only issue was that I hadn’t noticed that the top floor master bedroom and en-suite was in fact one room with no separation between the ‘facilities’ and the bed. We worked around it but I take the blame for not noticing and could be made a little clearer in the description. Wouldn’t stop us going back.

London in Lockdown!
This is a wonderful apartment and we had such a nice time there. I know the area well as I grew up around there so it was all easy and familiar to me. We were in lockdown whilst there but we could reach the river for walks easily and it's near Exmouth market for nice food shops and take away cafes etc. It's at the top of the building, which I like and has nice views of St James church and the sunsets were lovely. The place is clean and cared for, warm and cosy. Having a Christmas and New year in lockdown was a bit tough but felt smoother being there. Thank you!

Hi, We are an Australian couple who have lived in London now for the last 16 years. This is our much loved Clerkenwell apartment where we spent some of our most memorable times on London.

We now live a little bit further out of the city in a suburb called Dulwich, having to move (begrudgingly) to a house once our kids arrived. We still love the neighbourhood, going back regularly to the wonderful bars and restaurants in the area. Clerkenwell was just voted the best place to live in London 2024 in the "Sunday Times"

Why they chose this property

We loved living in the flat which is on the top floor of an old Georgian house in a street and an area with lots of history. Clerkenwell captures the spirit of the capital past, present and future. This Dickensian neighbourhood - where Oliver Twist learnt how to pick pockets - also has industrial architecture, bundles of creative energy and top notch culinary and cultural scenes.

Thanks to the recently opened Elizabeth Line and Thameslink, the local station of Farringdon is now one of the best connected places in the country whether your exploring the rest of London or heading further a field to the rest of the UK.

All part of the reason that it was names best place to live in London 2024 by the "Sunday Times"

The flat itself is on the top two floors, tucked away in very quiet street but one street each way and you are back in the hustle and bustle. Being on the top floor it feels very quiet. we fully renovated the flat about 5 years ago to a very high standard and have maintained this over the years. Difficult to find a period apartment with such a large open plan living similar to this.
