Attractive and well-appointed apartment

Attractive and well-appointed apartment in a great location near British Museum. Apartment was generally quiet, particularly at night. It was a great convenience having two bathrooms each with shower stalls. Showers had plenty of hot water and good water pressure.

Although there were mostly strengths, there were a few minor weaknesses: there was no drip coffee percolator, just an expresso machine for Nespresso single-serve capsules (ok if you like that sort of thing, but not convenient if you want to drink 3 or 4 cups of perked coffee); WiFi occasionally interrupted searches with demands for a BT login; and, it was unclear what to do with recycling.

Recommend highly and would gladly stay again.

Stellar rental close to the West End and Covent Garden

This place was absolutely spectacular and we would stay there again without hesitation. Excellent value for the money. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very well appointed with high-end appliances and everything you need in the way of glasses and dishware. The heating works very well and it was nice and cozy for our Christmas in London.

A second full bath was a pleasant surprise and we loved the heated floor and towel warmers in both bathrooms. The furniture was clean and comfortable and the flat is flooded with natural light. It's also directly across from a really good Thai restaurant and has a small market that sells all the basics in the same building on the ground floor. Great restaurants, high-end food shops, wine shops and coffee shops are just a block or two away. Covent Garden and the West End were walkable and buses stop close to the apartment. Once we figured out the buses things got a lot easier!

We had a bit of problem our first day as we lost water pressure to the sinks in the flat (though, oddly, the showers and toilets worked fine). Jo responded promptly and it turned out to be a plumbing issue affecting the entire building. In spite of this happening just two days before Christmas, everything was back to normal in a couple days. Things go wrong sometimes, and good communication, empathy, and prompt resolution of the problem were appreciated.

Everything we needed was provided except for toiletries and (oddly) detergent for the laundry machine. Note for Americans - the washer/dryer combo only takes very small loads.

Lovely flat in a great neighborhood

My husband and I stayed in this flat for 3 nights. It is wonderfully close to the British Museum on a quiet street. We know London well but had never stayed in this neighborhood and had a perfect stay in this flat.

Great Flat.

This flat was great. Good size and very secure.. Great location as there were several tube stops within a short walk. I would definitely recommend this flat. I would not hesitate to book here again!

Well presented and comfortable, excellent location

This apartment is well presented and comfortable and the location is excellent. I received great service throughout my stay and have no complaints. My only suggestion is that double glazing in the bedroom would reduce the street noise e.g. rubbish collection and deliveries to the mini-market in the early hours. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment again.
