About the property

Luxury 2 bedroom, 17th century property in quiet central town location

This recently restored apartment, formerly a school, dates back to the 17th century. It forms one corner of a hidden town centre courtyard garden, of which visitors have the use of a small outside terrace.

The accommodation consists of two double bedrooms (one of which may be configured as two single beds if required), large open plan sitting room with wood burning stove and bathroom.

There is off-street parking available for one car. Coxwell Street is one of the oldest streets in Cirencester, right in the town centre but remarkably quiet and peaceful.

Access: Access is via a flight of stairs - this may be a consideration for some people. The accommodation consists of two double bedrooms (one of which may be configured as two single beds if required), large open plan sitting room with wood burning stove and bathroom. There is off-street parking available for one car.

Bedrooms: The pictures here show both bedrooms as doubles however Bedroom 2 can be configured as two single beds if required - we require notice to change the beds.

Lovely apartment for exploring the Cotswolds.

  • 4 of 5

This is a very well appointed apartment in Cirencester that is great as a base for exploring the Cotswolds. The host, Neil, was very helpful and ensured that everything was spick and span for our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it highly.

Clean, spacious, comfortable and great location

  • 5 of 5

Cirencester is a beautiful historical town in the center of the Cotswolds and Coxwell Street itself is one of its oldest roads. The flat is so conveniently located, within 5 minutes walking distance to the center while at the same time being quiet and peaceful. The flat i is on the first floor of a beautifully restored historical building. It is clean, comfortable and quiet spacious, while retaining the cozy countryside feel. It has a modern and well equipped kitchen, with all amenities except a microwave oven. It has a modern gas heating system along with a traditional wood burning fire place. Four adults could stay comfortably. My wife and I couldn't have asked for a nicer place. It made our stay in the Cotswolds even more delightful. A big thank you to Neil Williams.

Loved Our Stay!!!!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was PERFECTT!!!! If we could rate it a !0, it would be a 10+. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a bottle of Bubbly in the refrigerator and chocolate! Upon booking our stay, Neil was excellent. He made everything precise which made the transaction without hassle. We loved the town of Cirencester; the people were lovely! We fell in love with the place! We walked everywhere unless we ventured out onto the countryside. If we got lost, we would look for the church steeple! The location of the apartment was perfect for sightseeing trips throughout the Cotswolds. There are so many excellent places to dine, and a couple of great grocery stores nearby. During our stay, there were two open markets in the town center. Cirencester has a great Roman history with several sites and a museum in town . We highly recommend this property in every way! Thank you Neil providing such a wonderful place during our stay in the Cotswolds. We do hope to have the opportunity to return!

Cirencester a beautiful town in the Cotswolds

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was lovely the rooms were a delight and it was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop yet we where only a few minutes walk into the middle of Cirencester.

Lots of nice shops and bars

We all four of us agreed that we would put this on our list to return again,

Thanks Neil

Anna
