3 bedroom cottage close to beach

If you are looking for a holiday in the Scottish Highlands with a touch of luxury then look no further..... The cottage has been renovated to a high standard and has 3 bedrooms and 3 shower rooms, 2 of which are en-suite. It is ideally suited to families of all ages.

The cottage is situated in the rural Easter Ross village of Saltburn, by the shores of the Cromarty Firth. From the front there are splendid open views towards the Black Isle. It's on the shoreline of the Cromarty Firth that a variety of wildlife can often be seen and a walk along the beach will always be interesting.

The cottage is an ideal base to visit the many whisky distilleries and castles in the area. Only a few miles away is the Balnagown estate which has good opportunities to explore the outdoors with dedicated cycling and walking routes. There are good golf courses in the local area which are set in some wonderful scenery.

The Royal Burgh of Tain is 10 minutes drive away. This quaint small town is steeped in local history dating back a thousand years. Here you can walk down the narrow streets and visit some of the old buildings, churches and museums.

Inverness is an easy 30 minutes drive away.

Wonderful Cottage in Saltburn

This is a three bedroom, three bath cottage on Saltburn Rd in Saltburn, Scotland. The front of the house faces the beach on Cromarty Firth. The back has a small garden area. The house is nicely laid out with two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, one bedroom and one bathroom downstairs, a large living room and large kitchen/dining area.

If you are visiting the Inverness area, do not be put off by the distance from Inverness proper. It is an easy 20-30 minute drive into the city.

Beds and bedding are of good quality and very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and functional. Water pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. Bath linens were of good quality. We found the neighborhood to be very quiet and there is very little traffic along Saltburn Rd. the host was very easy to work with. We experienced no problems with the cottage, and would highly recommend.

Second Visit

This is our second visit to the cottage. Home from home with all the facilities you need. We stayed in the cottage when the weather was very cold but the cottage is lovely and cosy. Close to all facilities and the view from the cottage is stunning. The owner, Graham is always prompt with his communication . Would highly recommend the cottage. Hopefully, we will return again next year!
