About this property

A lovely house in a quiet, neighborhood full of children, near the center of Haarlem, dunes, beach and circuit, FORMULA I van ZANDVOORT and Amsterdam.
The house has a spacious living room, a lowered open kitchen and a cozy garden with a large dining table, lounge sofa and electric outdoor barbecue. On the first floor is a two-person bedroom and a study room, where we can create a double room by placing 2 more luxurious folding beds. There is also a modern bathroom with rain shower on this floor.
There are two bedrooms on the attic floor; Both with a double bed 1. 40m / 2. 00 m
The attic floor has its own sink.
The train station to Zandvoort is a 5-minute walk away. Travel time to Zandvoort is 6 minutes. Our guests can also use our 4 bicycles.(more on request).

Amazing experience close but apart from the crowds

Best vacation house and host to stay with ever. I know that’s a lot to say, but Kirsten checked in on us, helped us, and answered all our needs quickly and completely - even while she and her family were also on vacation! Don’t miss this place. Haarlem is lovely (not crazy over commercial like Amsterdam) and you are within a bike ride of tulip fields, or a 15 min train to Amsterdam. Wonderful. My family all loved it. 6 stars!!!

Tolle Woche in Haarlem

Die Vermieterfamilie hatte sich toll gekümmert, hat extra für jeden von uns ein Fahrrad besorgt, Werkzeug zum Satteleinstellen lag auch da, das Haus ist super eingerichtet. Die Familie ist, wie die meisten Niederländer, entspannt. Sehr schön, gern jederzeit wieder.

Wonderful family home!

Loved staying at this Welcoming family home, it is nicely located for all kinds of adventures by foot, bicycle, car or train. Also the train station is close by. The family was very helpful in making this the perfect vacation for our family! This was a very happy experience for us all!

Beautiful house and great for our family of 7.

We really enjoyed our 2 weeks in this house. It was very comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of 7. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. We really enjoyed having the use of the outdoor gas grill. The garden picnic table and outside seating were very useful as well. The owners arranged for us to have enough bikes for the family, which was a huge help. The house is an easy ride into the center of Harlem, which is a beautiful city with plenty of history and plenty of shopping. There are nearby grocery stores and restaurants. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars are because the stairs are a little steep and narrow (which may be common in the area as we saw in several other places), which may be difficult for small children. It was also unseasonably hot during our time in this house, so the attic bedrooms were quite warm even with fans. During a normal summer, this probably is not a problem. The owners were very easy to communicate with and even though they were out of town, they had a neighbor to meet us warmly upon arrival. The neighborhood was very safe and friendly as well. If we were ever to have the chance to vacation again in the Haarlem area, we would definitely try to stay in this house.
