There is nothing quite like a blue ribbon trout river just outside your front door. The cabin is positioned along the west side of the Yellowstone River. This is a great place to stay when touring Yellowstone National Park. The Gardiner North Entrance (4 miles away) is the only year round entry into the most visited National Park in the United States.

The cabin features a full kitchen with all dishes and utensils provided. Both Master Suites have 1 queen and 1 oversized full bed, also each suite has its own full bath. Just outside the spacious patio you will find a large fire pit with plenty of seating for all your friends and family. You will love the stunning views and relaxing atmosphere we have to offer.

This property is located very close to Yellowstone Park, Gardiner, and Yellowstone Hot Springs. We always see mountain goats, elk, deer, antelope, bison, and bald eagles either just down the road or out the windows of the cabins. The cabins are beautiful, have dishes, utensils, refrigerators, spices, coffee, dishwasher, 2 bathrooms, 2 showers and tubs, internet, 2 bedrooms, washer and dryer, games, tv, fireplace, huge fire pit outside, acess to the river, towels, and more. Very clean and cozy settings. This is an amazing cabin and experience.

Excellent Property
Great location relative to Yellowstone. Beautiful views outside front door and back porch. Elk walking through property everyday and if you want a secluded hike instead of typical Yelllowstone Park site seeing, there are two nice trails right outside the cabin.

Excellent place
Cabin has everything you could need! Plus, from watching the river, elk, big horn sheep, and other animals, there is lots to see. The Yellowstone hot spring is only 3 miles away. The road is a little rough coming in but well worth the trip

Beautiful views, excellent choice for home base at Yellowstone
Cabin is in great location, (beautiful views) and only a few miles from the Yellowstone north gate. It's bigger than pictures make it seem and the decor is really on point. The host thinks of everything you could need and more, it was also very clean. You'll just need to bring food and ice. Side note, dirt road leading to cabin is not as long as it seems, plus we saw elk and pronghorns every time we drove it. We definitely would stay here again.

Off the beaten path
The property and our cabin were very cozy and rustic. In a good way! Beautiful view of the Yellowstone river off the back porch, and the sound of the rushing water was great. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need. My one complaint is you have to take your garbage with you, and go to the dump. Not nice. The town itself is not great, they really need a few nicer restaurants. The road to get to the cabin is dirt and rocks, and it’s long and torturous. We saw lots of wildlife on our way though! Elk, Pronghorn antelope, and bald eagles.

My name is Marty Haskins. In the picture is my father-in-law Frank Kroll. We purchased the cabin in November of 2005 along with my wife Kelly and Frank's wife Debbie. We bought the property thinking of how great it would be to have a 'getaway' that is riverfront, park-front, and forest service-front. We have been blessed to find out the demand for housing near Yellowstone Park. We only thought we would rent out about 6 weeks a year and now are renting the whole summer. We spend a lot of time at the cabin in the spring and fall. The picture you see is the fire pit about 10 yards from our back door. As you can see I like a big campfire.

Why they chose this property

Gardiner is a very special place in Montana and it just happens to be the only year round entrance into the park. This location is ideal for a vacation in the Park. For me it is ideal for fishing the mighty Yellowstone River. I have been vacationing in Yellowstone since I was a young boy. I grew up in rural North Dakota and had an Aunt and Uncle who lived in Billings, MT. They had two boys my age so my brother and I would come to Montana in the summer for two weeks and they would take us to the Park. Thanks to my Aunt and Uncle I now live in Bozeman, I met my beautiful wife in Billings and I now own a cabin bordering Yellowstone Park.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is surrounded by National Park Land, Forest Service Land, and the Yellowstone River. Best of all it is only 300 yards from the Park, yet 4 miles from the entrance and the town of Gardiner. You get a secluded base camp from the park that is only minutes away. Our favorite thing to do is sit around the campfire at night while Debbie makes peach cobbler in the dutch oven.
