Set atop the Cretan sea, the brand new Villa Contessa takes advantage of its location by offering sweeping views of the beach, the bay and the village of Panormo. The villa has an open plan that helps connect the main living spaces with the outdoors, via a large viewing deck with a pool. Additionally, all of our en-suite bedrooms have access to veranda or balconies to give all rooms unrestricted access to the impressive view. Being only a stone-throw away from the sandy beach, the villa offers a premium holiday experience and services to our guests. Furnished in a combination of stylish and luxurious touches, the villa offer a perfect layout to maximize both space and views. Offering a quick access to Panormo beach, it can accommodate 8 people in beds and up to 10 if necessary.

- Indoor layout -

Entering the villa on the ground floor, there is a spacious open plan area consisting of a living room area with a sofa, satellite 50" HDTV, Playstation 4, a dining area and a fully equipped authentic kitchen with top quality fixtures and appliances. From the living room area, you have direct access to a veranda which offers exceptional panoramic views of the Cretan sea and the nearby beach. There is also a toilet located on the same floor.

Ground floor hosts a bedroom with a king bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The bed can be transformed to be 2 single beds if needed.

Reaching the first floor through a staircase or an elevator, there are 2 bedrooms with a king bed, sitting area and en-suite bathroom. One of the en-suite bathroom has shower and the other one has shower and Jacuzzi.

Reaching the second floor (loft) through the staircase or the elevator, there is a bedroom with 2 single beds which also can be transformed to be a double bed if needed. All the bedrooms offer views to the sea from any angle, HDTV, mini bar fridge, air-condition, closet, and access to outdoor area or balconies. Additionally, all the floors are connected by the elevator which offers the perfect holiday layout in order to maximize comfort. All bedrooms have a mini-fridge.

The beautifully landscaped outdoor area offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation.

More specifically our outdoor facilities include:

- A swimming pool.

- Dining table for 8 people next to the pool.

- A variety of furnished spots (with sun beds, umbrellas, tables and chairs) for relaxing in the veranda and balconies around the villa

The whole outdoor area is totally private and fenced, offering 100% privacy to our guests.

Villa Contessa is located next to a sandy organised beach in Panormo village, a beautiful seafront village with a lovely view overlooking the Cretan Sea. It is the most central location of the island of Crete and from here you can visit the whole island. It is only 22 km from Rethymno and 56 km from Heraklion town.

Panormo has all kinds of shops such as supermarkets, pharmacies, traditional taverns, cafes, restaurants and some of the best sandy beaches in North coast of Crete and everything can be reached on foot from the house.

Additionally take advantage of the location and explore the nearby villages of Melidoni, Margarites, Eleftherna, Zoniana and Anogia where you can interact with real Cretan people and feel the Cretan hospitality. Around those villages you will also be able to see some unique sightseeing spots like the Idaion Andro cave where the Zeus was born according to Greek Mythology, the Zoniana village museum with candle statues and the cave "Sfendoni", the well known cave of Melidoni, the traditional pottery shops in Margarites, the Ancient city of Eleftherna with its museum and many more.
