Stunning, luxuriously appointed 4 double bedroom Villa in Tavira with 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite), 1 shower room, large living room with dining area and modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven/hob, microwave etc.
Features: Airconditioning in all bedrooms and living areas. Large 32 in LCD TV with UK Freeview channels. Gas fired boiler for plentiful hot water.
Electric shutters/fly-screens fitted to all windows and balcony doors. Large front balcony (off living room) with table and chairs. 2 bedrooms with king-size beds. 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds. 3 bedrooms with large built-in wardrobes, one bedroom with free-standing wardrobe. Hair dryers in all bedrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have balconies with table and 2 chairs. 2 bathrooms with bath plus rainmaker shower, smaller bathroom has rainmaker shower. Ample towels in all bathrooms. Further shower on ground floor. Small pool at front. Rear garden is secure for small children. Car not essential but recommended.


Letting Agent: This is a privately owned villa and all bookings are managed by our local agents, East Algarve Rentals in nearby Vila Real, who provide a service which we believe is second to none in the area. Angie Graham, will meet you on your arrival, deal with any concerns that may arise during your stay and check you out on your day of departure.

Services include: Meet and Greet service at the Villa on your day of arrival to show you around and and answer any questions.

A welcome pack to help you settle in. This includes water, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, wine, beer, soft drinks (if there are children in the party) and toilet paper. The tenants' information pack in the living room includes useful phone numbers, guidance for use of the appliances, TV etc, details of local supermarkets, restaurants and cafes, places of interest. A mid-stay clean is provided for rentals of more than 7 days.

Angie is contactable 24 hours a day and will act as an English/Portuguese contact in the event of an emergency. She will respond to all enquiries re the property and appliances, arrange car hire/taxi if required and can organise golf (with preferential discount) at local courses. She will check you out on departure, collect the keys and refund your security deposit. Check out is at 1200 unless otherwise arranged.

Car Hire: Most of the usual car-hire companies are represented at Faro Airport. However, for best rates, we favour a small local company called Algarve Rent a Car based in Almancil. Their representative will meet you at Faro Airport and your car will be waiting in the car park just across the road from the Terminal. When booking, please be sure to use the correct web address because there are others with very similar names! For preferential rates, remember to tell Alexandre Santos that your booking has come through the Villa owner, Roger Price, in Tavira. If you need to top up the fuel tank on departure, there is a convenient filling station on the roundabout just as you enter the Airport.

Please note that since Jan 2015, all Rental Properties in Portugal must comply with approved Safety and Fire Regulations and to display an identification plate next to the front entrance. This property is registered with Tavira Municipal Council under Licence no 7686/AL.

Perfect spot for fun family holiday in Eastern Algarve
Our experience in Roger's villa was summed up by our 9yo's reaction, 'this is perfect.' We were welcomed warmly on our late(ish) arrival and shown all the facilities, in the villa and locale. Lots of very useful information also presented in Roger's folders. Our immediate needs were there for us, and any additional needs arranged in advance. The villa was beautifully presented, the pool and children's toys super. Super, well appointed kitchen and BBQ area. Tavira centre is indeed an enjoyable 10min stroll away, only concern during whole visit was the busy road with no safe crossing point when leaving the quiet enclave. That said, Tavira is a beautiful town, lovely mix of history, good food and the excitement of taking the boat to the beach. We had a wonderful stay, fun and relaxing and well looked after by Roger and Angie. Thanks

Great villa great town
Great property for multi generational family holiday. House had everything you needed and more. Swimming pool, barbecue, internet TV, we even had a spare fridge great for chilling the beer and wine. Relatively easy walk to town just over a km and 1.7Km to ferry, approx 20 mins. Taxi is approx 6euro to town. You cannot beat Tavira for beaches, via ferry or restaurants which offer quality and value, our favourites are Artifact and Brisa do Rio but there are so many good ones and we’ve been coming for 10 years

Great property
The villa was amazing. Far bigger than expected. Plenty of room for a family of 7 to enjoy their own space. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious along with the communal areas. Kitchen was big with lots of appliances. The walk into town was around 12-15 minutes with a very busy road to cross but all manageable. The people who caretake the villa were super helpful. They ordered cabs and shared lots of local knowledge. Thank you Angie and Stuart. Tavira is wonderful. This was our third visit and it did not disappoint.

Awesome villa
Great location, only 1.6 km walk from Tavira town centre. The villa contained absolutely everything we needed for a family of four, and the space was more than sufficient for our needs. Large bedrooms, spacious bathrooms and great open plan kitchen and living room. Pool was clean and lots of toys, inflatables in the garage to use. Overall 5/5 and we would definitely stay again. Angie and Stuart the managers catered amazingly to all our needs and Roger the owner was quick with any replies to queries.

Living in England and a retired Airline pilot, I have travelled all over the world but always love coming back to Portugal. We spent a long time looking for our ideal property and we have never changed our mind about this Villa. We come here mainly in the Spring and Autumn, leaving the Peak Season free for our guests.

Just to avoid any confusion, the above is all about me but the Villa is managed on my behalf by Angie Graham, who lives close by and her number (with the +351 prefix) is the best one to use. And sometimes emails go astray so if you don't here back from us within 24 hrs, please try again.

Why they chose this property

First of all, Tavira is such a wonderful location. It is a working town which means there is always something going on, Summer and Winter. It is not as busy or glitzy as Albufeira or Villamoura but there is still plenty to do, particularly if you like golf.

Being so far South, the skies are always clear and they say there are 300 days of sunshine every year. You are also fairly close to the Spanish border, and is not much more than an hours drive to the beautiful City of Seville.

It takes a bit of effort to get to the main beach on Ilha da Tavira, with ferries running from downtown (10 mins) or the main jetty at the other end of the salt flats (5 min) and for this reason, it is always relatively quiet. The sea is clear (if a bit on the cold side) and the beaches spotless, washed by the Atlantic currents.

One of the best bits is its proximity to the town, far enough away to miss all the noise but close enough to walk. It only takes only 10 mins to walk into town which means everyone can enjoy themselves and no-one has to drive.

As for the town, there are numerous restaurants and bars and tiny tucked-away cafes and shops. Not necessarily what the kids will want but great for the adults.

The Villa is now 10 years old but it doesn't look it. A striking modern design and particularly well equipped. We strive to keep it in tip-top condition and if anything goes wrong during your stay, we shall do our utmost to get it fixed without causing you any inconvenience.

What makes this property unique

Close enough to town ... yet far enough away.
Ample terraces where you can always catch the sun, morning or afternoon.
Secluded rear garden and secure for small kids
Particularly lovely Western balcony where you can watch the sun go down with a glass of wine in your hand.
Lovely sheltered pool for a cooling swim in the heat of the day
Secluded gated community means parking is never a problem
And best of all, Angie is always on hand to make your holiday special.
