About this property

2 bed apartment in historic Soho house central London

This beautiful 2-bed flat in a historic early 18th century house is comfortable and bright with a new kitchen, 300-year old wood panelling and original floors.
It is located in Soho in the beating heart of London's thriving theatre, shopping and restaurant-district.
Major museums, art galleries, parks, Buckingham Palace, the South Bank, dozens of theatres, cinemas, and all the shopping attractions of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Covent Garden are within fifteen easy walking minutes of the front door.
There is excellent local public transport including the new Elizabeth Line which runs direct to Heathrow airport.
The flat is on the third floor of a historic (circa 1700') Queen Anne house in Soho. It is newly refurbished to a high standard and has original early 18th century panelling in all the rooms. Note that there is no lift.
Free Wifi is available via the flat's dedicated broadband service.
The spacious living room contains a large sleep sofa, a 32'' flat screen TV, and a dining area with chairs and table sitting 4.
The kitchen is modern with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, double-height fridge freezer, electric oven and gas hob.
The two bedrooms are airy and bright and each contains a double bed (one is slightly smaller than a standard double bed).
NB : The bathroom containing a bath and WC is very compact. There is a separate shower concealed behind the panelling in one of the bedrooms.

The flat is furnished with a mixture of antique and modern furniture and has polished original wooden floors with oriental and modern rugs.

Soho is a lively area in the evening but our street is relatively quiet as is the flat.
Staying here, visitors can enjoy luxurious accommodation while experiencing the "village" that is the very centre of this vibrant city.
Note that we are not able to accept late check in after 9pm

Wonderful Property and Location
We stayed for 11 nights to go sightseeing whilst places are less busy so chose a central location. We appreciated the homely touches on arrival and Flora was welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. The property is quirky, which was part of the attraction. We’d definitely use it again.

Homely, comfortable, everything we needed, clean and well appointed - no unnecessary ornaments
Great central london location with friendly welcome. If you can do the stairs, then you can walk London easily from here.

Perfect location and nice people
It is hard to imagine a more central place than this. An athmosphere quite unique given the age of the building, and Jane & Flora as perfect hosts, made this a very nice experience - we will be back, when going to London in the future. Thank you both!
