About this property

A unique space to relax and unwind, offering a spacious lounge/dining room with TV, freeview and DVD player. There is a double and a twin bedroom, with enough space for an additional bed. Your kitchen has everything you should need to prepare your meals, unless of course you decide to spoil yourself at any of the wonderful eateries in Looe and Polperro. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and all of the usual facilities.

Our peaceful village location and award winning gardens are perfect for relaxation after sightseeing, rock-pooling or surfing. The outdoor pool is great for cooling off and children can enjoy the play area and challenge parents to a game of table tennis, pool or air hockey. A relaxing BBQ in the grounds or a meal at the local village pub 2 miles away rounds off the perfect day. Our aim during your stay is to help you get the most from this beautiful part of Cornwall. We welcome dogs and families and can recommend some wonderful walks for everyone to enjoy.

Excellent Accommodation

If you are looking for a quality apartment in a great location then you need not look any further. Everything you need is there from towels to kitchen equipment. The grounds are beautiful with small play area for little children, and the pool which was much needed during heatwave. It’s location for exploring Cornwall could not be better, very quiet area but only a few miles to the beach etc.

Old Rectory - a great holiday

Great accommodation, very clean. Lovely pool, so refreshing in the heat. Beautiful gardens. Dogs welcome. Well equipped games/exercise room for rainy days. Local shop and post office nearby and well stocked. Lots to do in local area coasteering, zip wiring, cycling, segwaying, surfing (north coast) and pretty villages and coastal towns to visit and find places to eat. Great holiday.

It has been wonderful bringing up our family in this fabulous place. We love Cornwall in all seasons and weathers.
We moved here in 2004 to slow the pace of our lives and enjoy more quality time with our children. Whilst I do still work in the NHS a couple of days a week, we have achieved those aims. The gardens here can keep me busy, but are a pleasure to work in - guest appreciation is a great motivator.

The Old Rectory is an ideal base to explore locally and further afield and a fabulous place to return to and relax at the end of the day

What makes this property unique

The heated outdoor pool in the summer may be small, but is great for cooling off and having a lazy swim or throwing a ball around. The loungers on the south terraces are great for relaxing and the games room gives you somewhere to spend family time.
