This modern Townhouse fully refurbished in September 2013 is only 5 min drive from the beautiful Carlilse Bay and 10 min drive to Bridgetown. The house has air conditioning in all rooms. Ceiling fans are also fitted in all rooms including the patio area. It is also fitted with High Speed 50mb WiFi and cable TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and all linen and towels are provided.The house is furnished to a high standard as the owners use it for several months of the year.

There is a weekly maid service included in the price . The property has beautifully maintained gardens and the pool is just 5 metres away from the patio. The location is in a quiet area. If you fancy a night at the busy St Lawrence Gap, it is only 15 min away.

The complex is generally used by business professionals so during the day the pool area is very quiet. Ideal setting for families, couples or the business traveller. If you are looking for an ideal family holiday then this is the place

Barbados 2016

Just loved the location of property - everything was as advertised. Gated community and everyone was super friendly. Great amenities, which really cuts the cost of eating out every second - because you can cook breakfast etc. 5min drive to spectacular beaches.

You can bet your bottom dollar that I will be back if the gracious owner will have me. Stay here if you are on a family vaca to barbados - you won't be disappointed.

Superb family holiday home

This rental property has everything you could need and is a real home from home. There was no one using the swimming pool during our 7 day stay, and because it was so near, it did feel like our own. Security is very good ensuring safety on the property. All fans and a/c is in perfectly good working order. House is clean and has all kitchen appliances you could need. The cool box was great as we had a picnic on the beach. The agent Debbie greeted us when we arrived and gave us the keys. She also called us during our stay as a courtesy call and asked if there was anything she could assist us with. She was so helpful and is a real gem. All information about the property is sent by email and a copy was left in the house which was very useful. We had a great family holiday and enjoyed this house. It was a shame we couldn't stay a little longer. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Everything was clean, worked well, spacious, airy and excellent for the warm climate. Pool was perfect. NO MOSQUITOES!

The environment felt very safe, not just because it's a gated development. Your instructions were fine - could have mentioned the recycling arrangements. What a pleasant, handsome development - congratulations! We've already recommended it to others.

A great place to stay in Barbados

We stayed at the house during the month of January 2016. We had an excellent stay and endorse the positive comments of other reviewers. Based on our extensive experience in renting properties in many countries, here are 5 reasons why we enjoyed the property.

1. Peaceful and very quiet - a lovely property development

2. Ease of contact with the owner and a pleasant property manager on site

3. The house had all the amenities one would require and basic products were provided : toilet paper, cleaning products, towels etc.

4. Security : no worries here as there are gates, a security guard etc.

5. Proximity to Bridgetown and access to the beaches - you need a car however.

We would stay in this house again and would give it a strong recommendation.

lovely villa and fantastic location

We have just returned from our holiday and have to say it is one of the most relaxing we have ever had. The garden staff were very friendly and everything you could want is there. Debbie .. the house manager was very friendly and informative ... included was Wifi .. a tv with cable ... cleaning service...BBQ .. fully fitted kitchen and a laundry room .. the pool is just a few feet away and is lovely. We had a car for the duration but we did venture into Bridgetown on the local bus one day and was a brilliant experience.

We didn't have young children but would recommend this villa to both adults and families of younger children also.

The local people were all very friendly and helped us with information regarding travel and supermarkets etc...

We had a trip on a catamaran one day with Silver Moon which was worth every penny and would highly recommend this.. all the food and drink was included -- but we did take our own champagne with us too (5 bottles !!) .. The food was unbelievable ... we did a sunset cruise which was fabulous. they moored up at Sandy Lane to have dinner .. and before that we swam with the turtles at Carlisle Bay.

My daughter got married while we were there in the Sandals resort and I have to say it was a brilliant day and one of the best weddings I have ever attended .. truly wonderful.

lots of lovely restaurants within easy reach ... We visited Tapas ... The Lone Star... Blakey's ... and many more ... many of them on the beach ....wonderful food .. and you must visit Oistins on a Friday or Saturday evening .. fantastic.

All in all ... a very well equipped villa ( use of towels was also included which was very beneficial .. ) we didn't know this before we arrived so had brought our own .. and a lovely location..

Endroit trés cosy

nous sommes une famille de 4 avec des enfants de 20 et 11 ans.L'acceuil sur place est sympas la maison spacieuse avec tout le confort la piscine en plus.nous avons passé un excellent sejour que je recommande vivement.Steve nous à fourni toutes les indications pour trouver le logement ainsi que d'autres tuyaux et il à pris le soin de notre arriver jusq'au j maerci à lui.

This is a lovely gated community in a quiet Chattel village. The villagers are helpful and kind and you are a short hop from most attractions. We instantly fell in love with this property as it was more like a home that a holiday unit.

The Gunsite Townhouse Complex is a small gated community made up of 16 duplex townhouses, 32 units in total, located on an escarpment overlooking the south coast of Barbados. The owners and tenants have the luxury of a magnificent command of historical Christ Church, privacy and exclusivity within minutes of the city, the South Coast beaches and the Airport. Close to Bridgetown the capital of Barbados. We are close to Bridgetown the capital of Barbados. Other tourist attractions are St, Lawrence Gap where the restaurants and live music attract lots of tourists.

Oistins fish fry on Friday and Saturday night are a must. Here you will be able to eat locally caught fish and the local evening entertainment is unique.

Carlisle Bay is a beautiful stretch of beach and considered one of the top 10 beaches in the world. A trip to Doris' Rum shack on this beach is a must. you cant miss it as it has nearly every national flag in the world flying from her rooftop.

Harrison's Cave is a fantastic day out and should not be missed if you can fit it in. St Johns church on the east coast gives you a breathtaking view of the whole east coast of Barbados. A car/taxi is needed for this trip.

The Absolute Rum Shack (or Watering Hole) at the entrance to St Lawrence gap is a must on a Saturday. The atmosphere is fantastic and the characters unique. Karaoke nights are great and there are some quite good singers that go along so its buzzin. You will pay at least half price for drinks here compared to the bars in St Lawrence Gap.

Shakers is what I describe as an up market rum shack/restaurant, it is not far from the house but can be difficult to find. It's worth a visit as their beer battered catch of the day is to die for and their baby back ribs are awesome. Great value for money and a great friendly atmosphere. Make an effort to visit this restaurant, you won't be disappointed
