A deco jewel in the center of Budapest. Apartment located on the 4th floor of a historic building (Viktoria Palota) with a panoramic view of the Great Synagogue of Budapest and a stone's throw from Erzsébet tér.
The location of the apartment is central and close to all the main monuments, shops, bars and restaurants. The building is located between the Deák Ferenc tér square and Astoria with several metro lines, buses and trams to reach anywhere in the city.
The view from the living room for reasons of force majeure is not assured in the case of work on the facade or an advertisement, causes that do not depend on us. The only assured view, as described in the announcement, is that of the Great Synagogue.

A luxury stay in a great location

Lorenzo was a wonderful host.Responded very quickly to all queries. Apartment was beautiful, spotless and was very convenient for all public transport or walking to key tourist spots. A great stay

The perfect Budapest experience!

It is rare for me to stay in an apartment that exceeds all of my expectations, but Lorenzo's home definitely did. The panoramic view from the living room was mesmerising and almost certainly cannot be matched from any Budapest hotel room at any price. The apartment was immaculately clean and provided all of the facilities and equipment needed or specified. Luca was a charming presence at check-in and when needed during my stay of more than two weeks. Internet connection was fast and uninterrupted. The apartment is very quiet because of the excellent double glazing and little sound from neighbouring flats. Although you're on the edge of the "party district" you hear no related noise. Just occasional muffled sirens from emergency vehicles. The apartment building has direct access to both Dohany Utca (Great Synagogue) and Karoly Korut for Astoria tram stop and Astoria metro station. Cafes and restaurants line the building ground floor on The Dohany utca side. These include Fausto, one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. The only improvement I can think of suggesting is provision of a Bluetooth speaker for playing music. But maybe that is thought likely to risk annoying the neighbours. I return to Budapest in December and I hope to stay in Lorenzo's beautiful apartment again.

Amazing value for money.

This apartment is spot on, located literally next to the Great Synagogue. From a bird’s eye perspective, the place is more or less in the center of the whole of Budapest. Having managed holiday rentals for some 20 private accommodations, including a small hotel, I know that some owners promise a lot and don’t deliver. Not this one. Prior to arrival, I thought the images looked a bit “enhanced” or “photoshopped”. I can assure you that they are not. On the contrary, everything in the apartment is exactly as described in the advert, including the boulevard views from the livingroom and the master bedroom. There are, however, a few things that the pictures don’t show or tell; - The quietness of the apartment. You’re literally in the middle of Budapest, with all its traffic frenzy, and it’s oh so quiet inside. Those double glass windows do miracles! - Proper hot water in the showers, and plenty of it. I tried only the master bedroom bath, but I heard no complaints from the others in the group. Nice lighting in the bathroom as well. - Spaciousness. You just can’t find this space in a hotel, unless you go for VIP suites, which will set you back four or five times the rate of this. - Comfortable king size beds that make you want to stay in bed all day. Now I’m not sure if this is a positive thing :) The number one feature though, is the friendliness of Luca and Lorenzo, whom greeted us upon arrival. We got great advice on restaurants, and they really took their time to make us feel welcome, and they meticulously answered all of our questions (and we had a lot of them). I also want to send a personal thank you to Lorenzo for all the things that happened before arrival. Everything from organizing transfers from the airport, to answering questions about payments and everything in between. I have tried hard, but I really can’t think of any negatives. All in all, we had a fantastic stay in Budapest, and a lot of it had to do with this very comfortable apartment, and with the friendliness of Luca and Lorenzo. My only worry is that one day the owners will realize what a diamond of a place that they own, and that the current rates are way too low, and that they will then double, triple or quadruple the rates. Until then, I say book it while you still can. Five well deserved stars to you Luca and Lorenzo. I wish you all the best! Joakim & friends.

The apartment looks exactly how it does on the photos! It’s: big, tidy, clean and warm! Location is brilliant and the apartment is very secure. Couldn’t ask for a better location, right opposite the Synagogue and located right in the heart of Budapest! Fantastic communication from Lorenzo + Giovanni. Would highly reccomend, you won’t be dissapointed!

fab stay

We stayed at the apartment with two friends in November for 4 nights. We all agreed this was the best apartment we have ever stayed in. It was spotless had loads of room and the bedrooms were fabulous. A bonus had to be the views. Gorgeous. The only criticism I would have was that the bath was very deep and a bit difficult to get into. We tended to use the shower in the other room. However this is only our opinion. We were allowed to leave our cases until our afternoon flight which was great. The building is situated in the Jewish district very central and lots of eateries and bars nearby. We would highly recommend this apartment.
