This property is situated in the Europort area by the sea in one of Gibraltar's recent luxury developments. The flat has stunning south westerly views all around to Spain, the Straights of Gibraltar, Africa and the Rock itself. This duplex apartment is built on two floors with a mezzanine overlooking a double height reception room. It comprises three double bedrooms and three bathrooms (one en suite), kitchen, dining room (seating 6-8), spacious living room, laundry room and large terrace. The property is fully air-conditioned, has high speed wifi internet and cable television. It is conveniently located very near to Morrisons supermarket and within 5 min walking distance to the town centre and Main Street and less than 2 km to the airport and the Spanish border. It is also within walking distance to most of Gibraltar's attractions such as Ocean Village, Queensway Marina, Kings Bastion Leisure Centre, the Cruiseship Terminal and Casemates Square. We do not offer long term rentals.

Spain: Malaga Airport - 90 min drive by motorway (100 km).

Seville - 2 hour drive by motorway (200 km).

Jerez de la Frontera - 1 hour drive by motorway (110 km).

Marbella - 45 min drive by motorway (80 km).

Cadiz - 90 min drive by motorway (140 km).

Tarifa (fast ferries to Morocco) - 30 min drive (40 km).

The view must rank amonst the best in Gibraltar

Stunning location are words that can often be over used, not in this case. Sometimes pictures can be misleading, not in this case. It is also situated in one of the most convenient places in Gibraltar, near to the buses, Morrisons (essential supplies) and Main Street and town centre is less than a 10 minute walk away. It would get 5 stars but there are some niggles that could improve the property. Not all the windows have blinds on them so it can get very hot in the day because the bay facing areas are like a greenhouse when there is full sun. We found that the A/c couldn't cope in the living area (bedrooms no problem at all) and whereas opening the windows can cool it down you have to put up with a strong breeze in the flat. Oddly enough there is no A/C unit or blind in the kitchen either which would be very helpful. Blinds on all the windows, including the en suite bathroom (!) would surely help cut down the electric bills. The property is well appointed, especially the kitchen, but it would be beneficial to have more instructions on how to operate some appliances. The microwave and toaster were finally conquered but 6 of us could not work out how the new washing machine worked. We used the large one upstairs instead which did the job. The property is large enough for 6 people to stay without bumping into each other and I would imagine not too big for 2 people either.

Owner's Response: Hi Martin, thank you for your feedback. We have already been looking at installing additional blinds in the flat and particularly in the large living room windows and hopefully this should be completed by the end of the year; certainly in time for the next summer season. I totally agree about the lack of air conditioning in the kitchen but unfortunately, it is not possible to retrofit an AC unit at this stage as it should have been done by the original developers. The microwave instructions are included in the information sheet but I will make sure that we post some on the microwave itself. And yes, you're quite right about the new washing machine in the kitchen being a bit confusing and I had already added that to my to-do list when I was there two weeks ago. Again, thank you for your suggestions and we're really glad that you enjoyed the flat. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

Excellent apartment in a great location

We stayed here for 5 nights while in Gibraltar attending the music festival (great fun and well worth trying). The apartment in Europlaza is excellent, well appointed, convenient with stunning views across the straits to Spain and North Africa. The owner and letting agent were very helpful before, during and after the holiday rental. The property has air conditioning (vital in the summer months), high ceilings, roof to floor Windows allowing spectacular viewing and a lovely balcony with table and chairs, perfect for breakfast in the warming sun.

From a location perspective you can walk pretty much anywhere in Gibraltar and Europlaza is conveniently situated midway between the hustle and bustle of Ocean Village, Main Street and the quieter Marina and restaurants at Queensway. Morrisons Supermarket is directly across the road from the apartment block so perfect for self-catering but equally there are many eateries within a few minutes walk.

Overall this is an excellent 3 bedroom luxury apartment, highly recommended for couples or families.

Stunning!

Spotlessly clean accommodation of a very high standard. Met at the accommodation and shown round straight from flight.

Wonderful views from all of the windows and we were lucky enough to was the international space station make its transit of the top of the rock!

I recommend this accommodation unreservedly.
