About this property

It's a spacious, 4 storey Victorian family home that can sleep up to 6 people and has 2 full bathrooms and 1 separate toilet. The design is modern but still shows off its classic features. It also has a cute little south facing garden with a BBQ primed for sunny summer days.

It's perfectly situated on a quiet street near heart of Highbury. It is within walking distance of the famous Arsenal Emirates Stadium and sits in between two large, beautiful parks.

Transportation:
Busses (Route 19, 4, 141) and Underground/Subway (Piccadilly Line, Victoria Line) heading into central London are within 5-15 minutes traveling distance. The house is also very easy to get to after a long night out.

A short taxi or bus ride will take you to trendy Upper Street, which is filled with Bars, Restaurants, Shops, Theatres and Clubs. If you head east, you'll enjoy the idyllic and fun atmosphere of Stoke Newington Church Street with many Bars and Restaurants.

Though Highbury is close to the city, it has very much a village feel and can make any person feel at home within the hustle and bustle of London.

Restaurants: Rabieng Thai Restaurant (less than 5 min walk), Woodbine Pub - Thai food (5 min walk), Iznik Turkish (less than 10 min walk), Bank of Friendship (5 min walk) Le Mercury French (less than 10 min bus ride)

Caveats:
We will not take families with children under 12 years old as the house is not suitable for children younger than that.

Absolutely no pets are allowed as one of us is allergic.

The Basement and storage room will be locked during your stay.

Very well equipped and spacious house in a perfect location between Highbury and Stoke Newington .

Light,spacious ,welcoming ,well equipped house and small garden in a great location. Cristy ,the owner was a lovely host .The only small downside was that this is a 'smart' house and the elactrics are due an upgrade. We will definitely seek to stay in the future. Thanks Cristy

We've been living in this place for 14 years and we've loved every minute of it. The location is great. It's a bright home whether its sunny or cloudy. Being near the parks has always been great with the kids and it's so easy to go and have fun in town; it didn't matter if we just went out locally or hopped on the bus and went into downtown. It's a delight living here and it's a delight to be able to share it with others.

What makes this property unique

Even though the house is on a quiet street, it's not far from central London. So if you plan on sight seeing, you can be in the city centre in no time. But if you just spent a few days trekking through town and just want to relax, you can head down to the park with a blanket and a basket and simply chill out.
