Idyllic

We had a great stay at this quaint Cottage which was in an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside and places of interest. The Cottage itself was very well equipped with all that we needed for a very enjoyable week. Would highly recommend.

Thank you

Richard

lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful spot.

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay in Kingston. Stunning walks from the house ( particularly the walk to Westcombe beach). The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable, all really great. Sadly we didn't manage to eat at The Dolphin next door, as it's very popular, so book a day ahead! Thank you for a memorable holiday.

Fantastic home from home

  • 5 of 5

We were absolutely delighted with the cottage it was bright and airy the loung and bedrooms have just been completely re decorated and brand new sofas very comfortable. We have stayed at Old Hundredth for many years and never tire of the lovely walks both inland and down to the picturesque wonwell beach where you can spend all day if you want wandering up and down the estuary. In low tide you can walk across to the beach of Mothercombe and explore some more there. For many years we brought our Golden Retrievers Sophie and Hollie who absolutely loved the freedom of the beach. The cottage lacks for nothing what ever you need you can find. The peace and quiet is just the best the sound of the dawn chorus (knowing you don't have to get up as you are on holiday ) is delightful. There are some lovely restaurants very close and the Dolphin Inn next door does some really good food. David and I come twice a year on our own and once with our grandson now four and his parents there is plenty to keep him amused with a really well equipped swing park that has just about everything you can think of and in excellent condition. I can not recommend Old Hundredth and Kingston more highly although perhaps I shouldn't or we might have trouble getting booked !!!!

Fantastic! Home from Home

  • 5 of 5

Excellent! It just gets better and better every time we’ve stayed here. This’ll be the third occasion in as many years and each time we’ve visited the owner continues to do everything possible to make this beautiful Cottage as comfortable as possible. We just love it here, it’s got everything we could wish for. It really is just like a home from home for us. Thanks again. Ian

3rd VISIT - JUST PERFECT!

  • 5 of 5

Our third stay in this gorgeous cottage and still no disappointments! Everything you need for a cosy relaxing holiday. The two beaches within walking distance are amazing and just like the owner told me "like stepping back in time". The Dolphin Inn is under new ownership and offers great food. We shall be booking again!

Lovely, peaceful cottage in gorgeous location

  • 5 of 5

I loved staying here! This cottage is clean and comfortable as well as being very charming. The cottage itself is really clean and has everything you need- even some handy reading glasses as I forgot mine! it is set in a very quiet part of the village next to the pub and the church; it's clear that not a lot has changed for at least a couple of hundred years. It's a great place for exploring the area, whether on foot or in the car. Beautiful...I will be back!
