Beautiful hillside villa overlooking the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and the town of Greenwood. Very spacious throughout, with high ceilings and an open architecture. When the gentle Jamaican breeze is not enough, the air conditioners will be. Large bedrooms with built-in closets and bathrooms. Outside, there is almost an acre of space to explore, with lots of fruit trees and plants. There are also spaces for relaxing and taking in the view. This is truly your home away from home.

Simply Fantastic!

My stay at the Sunshine Lodge was quaint and glamorous all at the same time. We had a fabulous view of the sunset and ocean. The house was clean and well kept. The kitchen was available convenient and fully equipped. Air conditioning is also available in the bedrooms, which really helped during my stay in August. The owner provided great suggestions for places to eat (The Far Out Fish Hut, The Chill Out Hut) that were nearby, at least a 10 minute ride down the road. Both locations are right by the water so you can't go wrong, but I recommend going to the Chill Out Hut on your first day/night because you will begin your vacation on the right foot. There are plenty of attractions within 30 minutes or less from the house, driving is the easiest way to get around. There is the Glistening Waters Tour (20 minutes from the house), Bamboo River Rafting (30 minutes), and local beaches (15 minutes) - don't be afraid to say no to souvenirs.

This was absolutely horrible. In fact, we did not stay there at all

The property is nothing like what was advertised. It is not close to anything. It is jp high on a hill surrounded by thick shrubbery. No real security system. The rooms are old and dilapidated and the bathroom floors are disgusting with rusty and stained fixtures. We paid over $800 and could not stay there. Nothing like the glossy pjctures onljne. Avoid at all cost!

Gorgeous Views

This was a perfect place to come relax and enjoy the peaceful views from the hill top. The floor plan allows for privacy for all guest. This rental provided the relaxation and enjoyment we all needed!

The property was more than I expected. The property mgr was so gracious and nice as we were delayed a whole day checking in due to flight issues. I will definitely book here again!!!

We are a Jamaican couple who love to explore our country and meet new people. We currently live in England and travel back home every year. This property is our little slice of paradise, and we would love to share it with you, if only for a brief time.

Why they chose this property

The view. Every time we see the view, we are in awe, and you will be too. It is simply breath-taking. Whether it is sunny or rainy, whether at night or during the daytime, nothing compares. The town of Greenwood down below, and the magical Caribbean Sea stretching out as far as the eyes can see. The gentle ocean breeze wafting through the window louvres and through the many trees around the property add a soft soundtrack. The sunrise over Falmouth to the east and the sunset towards Montego in the west, along with the 180 degrees view of the horizon, complete this experience of tranquillity.

What makes this property unique

Close to amenities, beaches, and activities. Close to the airport, so arrival and departures are simple tasks. Everything you could need for a relaxing vacation packed into one great location and an amazing property.
Air-conditioning throughout, along with ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
