Nestled amongst 400 year old olive trees, this traditional Italian country house, Masseria Il Trullino, offers a serene hideaway and high standard modern comforts for a peaceful family or friends holiday.
Situated in the heart of the Salento countryside, Masseria il Trullino is close to the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean sea and its capital Lecce, also known as the ‘Florence of the South’. It was completed in November 2008, crafted by artisans from Pietra Leccese, the local stone using traditional techniques featuring impressive stellar ceilings.

The Masseria, a ‘U shape’ one floor building, is built in a traditional layout, with all rooms opening onto the internal large courtyard, the heart of the Masseria.

The kitchen/diner and living room open onto both the internal courtyard and outside gardens.

Guest Annex (accessible via an independent entrance):
2 double/twin rooms sharing 1 large family bathroom with bathtub and shower. One room with TV/DVD player.

Guest Pajara (traditional stone hut with a flat roof) :
Independent unit 25 metres from the main building.

Dining: Al fresco dining available in the walled courtyard , in the outside garden or under an olive tree (you can choose one among 200 of them!). Gas outdoor barbecue. Roof terrace for aperitifs at sunset with spectacular views over as far as eye can see olive groves and white-stone villages.

Caretaker: The Masseria’s own Caretaker is at hand should you require assistance or in case you experience problems during your stay.

Gardener and pool maintenance: these services are carried out on a weekly basis.

Swimming pool
10X5m Infinity pool with outdoor shower. The pool is located inside the walled courtyard. The maximum depth of the pool is 1.50m. The pool can be heated on request and it features an electric cover for safety.

Outdoor hot tub. Trampoline. Kids' playground including swings, slide and sand pit. Two mountain bikes, two kids bikes and a kid's scooter.

The Masseria is set in five acres of olive grove, which produce hundreds of litres of superior extra virgin olive oil.
- Two travel cots are available for babies and toddlers up to three years old.
- Toys, kids books, two car booster seats are available to use.
- All bedrooms offer air conditioning. Moreover, one extra ventilator is provided.
- Mosquito nets have been installed on all windows.
- The Masseria is alarmed and linked to a security service.
