Lovely cottage in great location, beautiful setting, perfect base to explore the area.

  • 5 of 5

Very straight forward booking process, quick response from the owner Pat who arranged for a cot and highchair and confirmed this with us before we left for our holiday. It was nice to meet Pat and it was reassuring to know that we could speak to her if we needed anything during our stay, field mushrooms delivered to the door were a welcome bonus, thank you!

The cottage is just as described, plenty of room, nicely furnished and well equipped.

Set in a very rural location, the views from the patio and upstairs sitting room are superb, yet it is minutes from Bridgenorth and close to many attractions. We visited 4 English Heritage sites, all within 30 minutes drive, RAF Cosford museum isn't much further away, the Severn Valley Railway is on the doorstep and Bridgenorth is a delight.

This is a lovely place for a holiday. Thank you from the Heaton's.

A Really Enjoyable Break

  • 5 of 5

The property is is off the beaten track, it is quiet, very well fitted out, has fantastic views and easily accommodates six (three couples on this occasion) whilst affording any privacy required.

The open lounge / kitchen area is large and very suitable for a group of friends or family and the seperate dining area allows meals to be taken together if required.

There is ample parking at the side of the cottage and a separate patio with field views can be used for barbeques in summer months.

The accommodation was very clean and there were sufficient towels, additional blankets, etc for our use.

The owners live in the original farm house across the courtyard and were excellent hosts; nothing is too much trouble.

There are several good local restaurants, we can recommend The Down Inn and Ye Olde Punchbowl Inn which are approx 3 or 4 miles away.

I am happy to recommend this cottage and hope to return next year.

Lovely spacious home from which our family could explore beautiful Shropshire

  • 5 of 5

Harry's House was a lovely base from which our young family (mum, dad and three children aged 10, 7 and 3) could relax and explore the area, rich in countryside, history, outdoor pursuits and other attractions.

Situated in a very rural setting about 15 mins south of Bridgnorth, Harry's House had sufficient space that even mum and dad could get some peace in the evening whilst the kids slept at the other end of the property and enjoyed a fabulous second living room. The house was clean on arrival and easy to keep clean, and has the benefit of 3 ensuite bathrooms. The owners, Pat and Bruce, live close by and are very friendly and helpful as required.

We had a lovely week at Harry's House during the October half-term.

Lovely barn conversion in peaceful surroundings

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic accomodation in beautiful countryside.

Very clean and well equipped. All the basics were there on arrival, even milk in the fridge.

The barn was really spacious and the kids loved having the upstairs to themselves with their own lounge.

Our hosts were really friendly and even took us on a walk with the dogs.

Would definately recommend and would love another visit.

Lovely property

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely short break. The owners were warm and friendly. Harry's House is a spacious property. The three bedrooms with en suite are a great feature, as are the gorgeous views which can be enjoyed from the outside terrace & the upstairs second sitting room. The property is equipped to provide every thing that one might need.
