An ideal family uk holiday!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this lodge back in May and had a wonderful time. The lodge itself is exceptionally well cared for and a perfect base to feel like home for a week. It's surprisingly spacious and has everything you need to help you enjoy your holiday.

The site itself is a decent size and wasn't over run with lots of people and we went over May holidays. I can't comment on the swimming pool as we didn't use it. Thoroughly recommend hiring the bikes and doing the camel trail. Our daughters 3 & 5 years loved it.

All in all a great lodge for a great holiday and we really hope to return in the future.

Wow... just Wow

  • 5 of 5

We have recently returned home from a 12 night stay with our Daughter, her partner and Granddaughter.

The Owners sent us an information sheet prior to our journey which was extremely useful, clear and concise. As soon as we walked through the door we were made to feel at home. The Lodge was spotless, spacious and very, very comfortable in every way. We fell in love with the small seaside town Polzeath (no more than 5 miles away from the Park), the beach was huge, we enjoyed it that much that we went about 6 times in the day and 3 times for meals at night at the fabulous Waterfront Restaurant/Bar. We also ate at the PityMe Inn, fabulous food. If you have children, take them to Crealy Adventure Park which is about 20 minutes away, our 3 year old had a ball (and actually the adults did too). We took the Ferry to Padstow, visited the beautiful St Ives, came across Watergate Bay and did so much more. One of the best holidays we have had, made even better by the luxurious accommodation, it literally was a home from home. The Owners from the time of inquiring about booking have been extremely helpful and very prompt in replying. It was that good my granddaughter cried the day we came home... so did I :-(

Perfect home from home lodge.

  • 5 of 5

Came here for our first holiday with our 2 month old son. It was easy to find and was located on a great holiday park.

Inside was spacious and luxurious with all the facilities you would need. We instantly felt at home. Would definitely come and stay again.

Thankyou Cathy and Claire.

Beautiful lodge with everything you need.

  • 5 of 5

Our lodge was just perfect. It is very well decorated and maintained with lovely accessories that made it feel like home and not just a lodge. It was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and Cathy and Clare had left us a bottle of fizz and chocolates, which we thought was a great start to our holiday. Loads of great places to see and eat out at, especially the local pub ' The Four Ways' in St Minver, which is a short walk through the holiday park. This is our third visit to St Minver and we shall definitely be back to stay in this lodge. Many thanks again Cathy and Clare for being so kind and helpful.

Location

From the Owner

This is our dream location and holiday home in order that we can enjoy our love of Cornwall

Activity and Interests

Nearest Beach : Polzeath Beach, Rock Beach, Daymer Beach at 2 Kilometres Car: recommended

Wadebridge is the nearest town, 4 miles away. One of Cornwall's main market towns and gateway to the Camel Trail, the town offers shopping and supermarkets and other leisure facilities. There are a number of pubs and restaurants and cafes.

The Camel Trail - Walk or cycle the famous 18 mile trail along a disused railway, through countryside, running from Padstow to Bodmin. Cycle hire available at Wadebridge.

Port Isaac - Pretty village made famous by ITV Doc Martin series. Winding streets and harbour

Tintagel Castle - Magical ruins high on the cliff top, said to be the birth place of King Arthur. Tintagel itself offers shops, restaurants and cafes
