Villa in Jalon, Jalon Valley, Costa Blanca North, Spain - The Villa Is 25 Minutes Walking From The Town Of Jalon Which Has Ample Shops And Restaurants.

The villa is set just at the bottom of the mountain range and is quiet with no other villa overlooking us. Views are spectacular and the nearest major towns are Calpe, Moirara and Javea but many people in these places come to the Jalon valley for the views and for eating. There are 5 villages within 15 minutes of Jalon all of which have their own special interest. Plenty of golf and tennis available for those who wish to partake and many walking groups are available for anyone to join in.

About Paul Croombs

We have been visiting Spain and the Costa Blanca for many years and honeymooned in Jalon. We fell in love with the views of the valley from poolside and could spend all day just looking out across at the Sierra de Bernia mountains.

We'd always dreamed of owning a property in this area because we know it so well and love the peace and quiet, and we were actually renting this villa when we noticed it was up for sale, and were able to turn our dreams into a reality.

We both work full time so we don't get to spend as much time at the villa as we would like, but it gives us the opportunity to rent it out to others and let them appreciate our lovely second home in the sun!

The villa is in a lovely quiet location overlooking the Jalon Valley. There are several neighbouring villas so you don't feel to isolated, but it is not overlooked.

We really appreciate escaping from our busy lives in the UK to the peace and tranquility.

The villa is comfortable and well furnished, and we aim to provide a home from home with all the facilities you would expect to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We also provide a villa guide which explains how the villa runs and also makes recommendations for places to visit and places to eat. Guests are encouraged to add their recommendations for future guests, and we really appreciate feedback and recommendations from our guests.

When you said I was in for a treat you never said how big a treat ! Idyllic, beautiful, elegant, peaceful, I could go on forever.

The views prevented myself from reading the books I brought ! I could not sit outside without soaking in those views.

We looked after house as if it was our own. All is in order and nothing to report.

Notes on accommodation: There are 6 loungers on the patio and seating in cushioned rattan furniture for outside. Wonderful views to Bernia mountains. Outside: Swimming pool is kidney shaped 8M by 4M with a deep end of 1.8M and 0.3M at the shallow end. Pool is cleaned twice a week during summer months and belongs purely to the villa. Plenty of outside furniture including a fixed table and bench next to the pool. Utility Room: The fridge/freezer and washing machine are located in the utility room. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are all out and in place on your arrival and if staying for a second week, then new towels and linen are available. Beach towels are provided. On your departure the cleaning will take place for the next guests arriving. There is an electronic safe available for storing passports, valuables etc.

Stunning mountain views!

We had the most amazing 2 weeks in this absolutely beautiful villa. The photos just don't the views justice they are truely out of this world! With 3 boys aged 8 -14 the pool is amazing to have especially when it is so hot! The downside is you have to leave the views and weather behind and come home! Paul and Claire were an absolute pleasure to deal with and we would highly recommend this property to any family or couple.

What a view.

My wife and I arrived at midnight, good directions from the owner ensured we didn't get lost. We could not appreciate what we had till we awakened the following morning, the sun was playing on the mountains, what a fantastic view which could be seen from all areas at the front of the villa including the pool. The Villa was spacious, well equipped, clean and an excellent layout. The area was great, lovely mountains you can drive through the passes, great beaches, some lovely towns, churches and other historical buildings. We did force ourselves to go out each day and actually did 1200 kilometers in our two weeks which was too short!!1

Great holiday in beautiful surroundings

The location of this villa in the Jalon valley is quite spectacular. Views and scenery quite stunning. The villa itself is exactly as listed it's everything you need for a quiet relaxing break. Nearby towns and villages are easily reached by car, and on decent roads, for a relaxing lunch or dinner - if you can drag yourself away from the tranquility of the villa! The comfortable furniture in the shaded naya was a huge plus in the heat of the afternoon. I would certainly go back to this villa and would recommend it without hesitation to friends or family.

Amazing and Fantastic !

This villa is a real 'gem' of the Jalon valley.

Communication with Paul has been excellent. Everything in the description is spot on and more! The photos do not do the property justice.

The pool is very clean (Simon visits twice a week) and has amazing views over the valley. The outdoor area is larger than we expected and the furniture is plentiful and very good quality. The naya was probably our favourite spot. Very comfortable furniture overlooking the pool and with breath-taking views again down into Jalon and beyond.

The quality continues inside as a large lounge diner is very nicely furnished along with a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms do not disappoint either.

The location is great. Not only are the views spectacular but it is within easy reach of nearly a dozen great beaches including Calpe, Javea, Oliva, Moraira and Playa de la Granadella.

In the evenings Jalon has some life as do local villages of Alcanali, Orba and Parcent or go futher afield to Old Town Calpe, Lively Altea, Javea and Moraira or our favourite stroll among the millionaire yacht owners in Denia harbour.

This is a truly wonderful villa in an excellent spot owned by a very nice couple and we hope (will) return very soon.

Lovely villa beautiful views

Loved our stay at the villa. The owners provided a You Tube video which was very useful for finding the villa! All very clean and everything you needed was provided. The perfect place for a couple or a family, very quiet and peaceful, not overlooked by any other villas. Only 5 minutes to the nearest bar and restaurants in Jalon. Javier with a lovely beach and more touristy was only 30mins away.

Further Details:

Jalon has everything you need for day to day. Good supermarket and many other shops. Otherwise go to one of the 3 places listed for even more choice.

Booking Notes:
In June, July, August and September rental starts on a Saturday and finishes on a Saturday.

If you elect to pay through Owners Direct, the full amount is payable on booking.
Guests preferring to book directly through the owner are required to pay a deposit of £100 on booking, with the final balance due 10 weeks before you depart.

Changeover Day:
Normally as shown is Saturday to Saturday but sometimes out of season it may be possible to have some other day. Please contact the owner for further information.

Notes on prices:
If someone wants a different start and end date to the Saturday, I may be able to amend pricing. Costs include A/C in the summer and central heating in the winter.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
