House dirty & smelly, furniture old, uncomfortable

The property was terribly maintained, with insects everywhere, old and shabby furniture, a super dirty freezer and broken BBQs, but worst of all was the smell inside of the house. After 13 hours of travel we spent the first night, not having a choice, and the next day began the long and uncomfortable excercise of trying to get our rent and deposit back from the owner so we could move to another house. Communications with the owner, once he knew we were dissatisfied, were more than difficult. Suddenly couldn't communicate in English at all, and we got text messages or emails (after numerous calls, and desperate emails from us) from someone else, as yet unknown to us. In the end he charged us more than double the agreed per night price for the 36 hours we were there. It's a shame that the property is not kept up, because the location and garden are wonderful, and right on the sea. I would not recommend this property to anyone. I have pictures to prove every word.

Écrit le Aug 22, 2015 pour un séjour en Aug 2015 We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Bertrand's holiday home. It was very relaxing, wonderful views and outdoor garden with hammock and sofas for relaxing. The house was a short walk to the supermarket and sushi restaurant which we loved. The children enjoyed finding crabs on the beach just in front of the house and swimming in the sea when the tide was in. Comfortable beds, very clean, washer dryer etc very handy for a family. We would return again. many thanks! 2eme : Too short sniffff stay ? Magnificent, very well equipped VILLA, ideally placed. 15 minutes in feet of the center of Ars and his(her) traditional market, 5 minutes of the center of "Talasso" and 5 minutes " Brothers of the Coast(Rib) ". Magnificent view(sight), big garden with a view of sea. Garden furniture shielded from the wind. In spite of an uncertain weather report, we were able to take advantage of the garden. The house is very very well equipped. Very warm welcome Ideal to be happy in family or between friends Without comment !!!!!!! DEVAL Bertrand
