Apartment in Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands - Peaceful location with a large pool in beach resort, only 10 minutes (by car) from the airport.

A superbly positioned, 1 bedroom apartment (bungalow), with a south west facing terrace overlooking the large complex free form swimming pool. The well maintained air conditioned accommodation is perfect for couples seeking a quiet relaxing holiday and is close to all the resort amenities. The well furnished bungalow styled apartment has a lounge / kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom with a shower. The property contains modern entertainment equipment and wi-fi facility (charged locally at approx 15 euros per week). Alternatively you can visit the Zanzibar (less than one minute walk from the bungalow) where you can enjoy a friendly atmosphere and free wi-fi. They also show all the main sports and have live entertainment most nights. The friendly resort centre is just a 15 minute walk away (or 5 minutes by taxi) and there is a small modern shopping centre just along the coast. Caleta de Fuste boats 2 18 hole golf courses that are a short distance from the property.

Why Lee O'Brien chose Antigua

We fell in love with our ‘bungalow’ the very first time we visited Fuerteventura so the decision to buy it was very easy. The island and resort are very peaceful and are not like the other over developed main islands of the Canaries. All year round sunshine and a only a 4 hour flight from the UK adds to the appeal of our property.

What makes this bungalow unique

The bungalow has a south west facing terrace so you can enjoy pool and mountains views. The property location is very peaceful and is just a 10 minute journey (by car or taxi) from the airport. The resort centre and beach is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the bungalow and the resort also boasts 2, 18 hole golf courses.

Me and my husband rented this apartment for our honeymoon, we arrived at the apartment to find a bottle of champagne, a card and just married banners on the table and bed which was so lovely. The apartment was lovely and cosy, and had exactly what we needed. Would happily go back!

We stayed for 2weeks at lee&sue o'briens holiday place in Caleta de fuste,fuerteventura.they have a very nice little get away in the sun. Had a nice view over looking the pool area,getting the sun for most of the day .the weather for the first week was lovely nice and sunny,the second week was a bit hit&amiss with the weather,but it is November,better than back home .The town of Caleta is what you would expect full of restaurants &bars .The place we we could to eat was the pickled palm ,just a short walk from where we were staying,we would highly recommend it as the food was home made ,the roast on Sunday was lovely.we would come back people very friendly

Lovely position and sun trap patio

This bungalow is ideally situated in a very quiet area and gets all day sun on the patio. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. Facilities are adequate and everything you need on holiday is local. The information pack from owner is good and informative. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family. Pool bar The Malibu is very good and people are friendly also across the road is The Zanzibar which is also very good and friendly. A short walk downhill to the town there are lots of bars and eateries but it is easier to taxi back only 3 euros.

Great bungalow

This compact bungalow met all our needs. Very clean. All the kitchen essentials that we wanted. Ceiling fans very useful at night! Breakfast sitting out on veranda.

Its location is super. A dozen or so steps to the pool. It's a downhill stroll of 10/15 minutes into centre,where there a some very fine eating places (El Patio our favourite) if your a bit unsteady on your legs a taxi is only €3. We would recommend this property.

A very relaxing and quiet complex.

Lovely and clean accommodation best position on the complex with a lovely view of the pool from the terrace. Plenty of places to eat in the town and lovely walks along the sea front. Sue and Lee's information pack was very helpful as were their directions from the airport.

The resort man made beach is just a 15-20 minute stroll from the property.

Travel:

The island airport is only a 10 minute drive from the property. Car hire is widely available and details can be provided upon request.

The resort centre is approximately a 15 minute walk from the property or 5 minutes by taxi.

  • Outside: The property terrace has a south west aspect and there are 2 lounger chairs and small tables for your use. The terrace has great views of the large free form communal (shared) pool which is open all year round. There is also the Malibu pool bar (when open), and launderette (extra charge applicable) available on the complex for guests use. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Upon arrival the bed linen, bathroom towels & matting and kitchen tea towels will have been freshly cleaned. Any additional mid-stay cleaning can be arranged prior to your arrival and charged accordingly. Beach towels are not provided.
