About the Owner

We first went on holiday to Sheringham with our four children in 1994 and loved it's unspoiled character. We bought a holiday home there in 2005 and the opportunity to purchase Queen Mary House and Sea Wrack followed in 2007 and then Crab Cottage in 2015. We were knocked out by the position looking directly out to sea - as are all of the visitors to Seacliff. We love visiting Sheringham and the nearby coastline with opportunities to mess about in boats and then come "home" to all the facilities in Sheringham and the friends that we have made locally.

We are always available to contact during your stay and have local help to cover most situations.

Don't judge a book by its cover!

We stayed at Crab Cottage for 3 nights, everything was perfect, no problems. The outside looks a bit retro but it has spacious clean accommodation with a sea view and less than 5 mins walk into the town or beach. Would recommend to others.

Perfect retreat

We have just stayed at Crab Cottage Sheringham, and the location was perfect to the town five minute walk you are smack bang in the middle of all you need shops, restaurants, for all the family in one place. We had two teenagers who enjoyed the local woods, walks along the promade and amusements. US adults enjoyed lots of walks from sheringham to West Runton, great local pubs serving local food with such a warming welcome which included our two dogs.

The accommodation was extremely set up well for a family. Clean and great views of the sea from the back garden. The owner had thought about kids with a great selection of DVD,s games and books.

We will definitely be going back to Sheringham and would strongly suggest anyone staying there especially outside the school terms as it was such ease to access everywhere with limited queues.

Thank you for a great stay.. only negative was not long enough stay for us..

Very nice, close to the beach and town

Nice house and gardens. Well equipped . Nicely furnished. . It would be have been useful if there had been a washing line or rotary dryer in the garden, we did have to dry off towels and wetsuits by draping them over the garden furniture. And the only way we found to get hot water was to turn off all the radiators and turn the central heating on. Did the job but seemed and odd way to get hot water. Overall, a very nice house in a convenient location. We had a lovely time in Norfolk

Lovely cottage in a cute town

Nice practical place to stay if visiting Sheringham and the area

We were 2 couples and a toddler and the property was perfect for us. Parking for 2 cars in the drive, a short walk to the center of Sheringham either via the coastal path or the residential way.

Inside - More than enough toys for our boy to play with! Good that there's a bath downstairs when staying with children. TV, kitchen with plenty of appliances, plates etc and a good dining table

Outside - Nice decked area, garden with a small barbeque and a view onto the sea although not with direct access. There's a very interesting putting green at the top of the hill which unfortunately we didn't get the chance to play on.

It's not a little quaint cottage like the ones in the center of town but certainly has everything for 2 couples and up to 3 children to stay comfortably.
