House in Los Balcones, Torrevieja, Costa Blanca South, Spain - Set In Peaceful Location With Local Bars Nearby

Set in well kept gardens, this property is set on 3 levels with balconies on first and second floor. It sleeps 6 and the bathroom is on the first floor. There is a double bed on the top floor with a very small terrace. There is a double bedroom on the first floor with a nice balcony looking over the gardens. There is also a single bed on the first floor with another pull out out single underneath (this takes up all the floor space however). There is also a sofa bed on the ground floor should you need it. The pool is a large communal type with sunbathing area and bar adjacent serving local Tapas and drinks. A short bus ride or car journey will take you into the heart of Torrevieja where you will find the many lovely beaches, markets, and amazing seafront.

Hi, My name is Dave. I absolutely love Spain and have lived and worked in Cartagena a few years ago. I am a family man and believe the location of our Spanish home is good for families to relax and enjoy My Spanish is good, (though my grammar leaves a bit to be desired). Why David Tebb chose Torrevieja

The property is set in very well maintained gardens offering a peaceful break. Even the running water in the fountains helps you relax. We are only a stones throw from the large communal pool and bar area making it ideal for families. While I like to practice my Spanish (and I do think everyone should try) there are a lot of English speaking around, even in the bars. There is also a supermarket and complex a few minutes walk. Whilst we enjoy the peace, it is only a short (and cheap) bus ride (or short drive) from the bustling centre of Torrevieja where you can enjoy the many bars or market stalls along the seafront, or the busy nightlife.... Its a fantastic place!!

Notes on accommodation: Smoking is not allowed in the property No pets allowed Outside: There is a small patio at the front of the property with a BBQ area Please Note That If You Arrive Or Leave The Same Day As Another Party Arrive Or Leave, Then The Property Will Need To Vacated By 10Am, And Ready For Occupation From 2Pm To Allow Time For Cleaning And Laundry Etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included, beach towels excluded. A cleaning charge of €60 is payable by occupants to the key holder upon arrival. This covers laundry too for up to 4 people. There will be a €10 charge per additional person. Airport transfer can be arranged if required. Cost is €45 each way for up to 4 people a 6 seater is €55 each way. For this service you will deal directly with the driver(s) If you want someone to meet you with the key, there will be a €15 euro charge. However this is included in the transfer fee should you decide to do that.

Great property. Comfortably slept six

Stayed here for 10 nights in August 2017 with our 4 children. We fitted in comfortaby. Everyone enjoyed the pool and ajoining bar/restaurant. Los Balcones is about 4km outside of Torrevieja but isn't commercial which we found relaxing and meant the kids didn't ask for much. Big supermarket over the road and other shops and restaurants with 10 min walk. Would definitely recommend

Had 2wk Aug 2016 break met all our needs community were. Very accomadating easy access to shops and local transport pool area very safe for young ones our flights were late on key holders very accomadating for our departure time wasn't rushed very helpful good communication between all parties would deffernatly visit again and so would the children little one keeps asking if we are going to our second home x

A beautiful, bright house. Spotlessly clean and in a lovely location.

The house is beautiful and bright and very well equipped. It had everything we needed. The pool is also lovely,as is the pool bar which serves snacks and dinners right up to 11.30pm

We visited a few places while we were there and would highly recommend Algar waterfalls where we were able to take a dip in the fresh (cold) water

The house has lots of options for TV so we were never stuck for a movie in the evenings.

There were 4 of us so we had plenty room and plenty of towels etc

Would definitely recommend this lovely house.

wonderful holiday!

Just returned home from a wonderful stay at this property! It's beautiful and well kept as are the grounds. It's well located, took us around a 40 minute drive from Alicante airport and a 10 minute drive into the centre of Torrevieja. The communal pool is wonderful and they had just finished fitting new play equipment too, it's all gated and secure which is great peace of mind with the little ones! Joint to the pool is the bar, it's reasonably priced and had Kareoke etc for night entertainment however I didn't rate the food. We had the most wonderful time and when we needed to contact David he was helpful and quick to respond! There is also an English couple on site who couldn't have been more helpful for recommendations etc. I am hoping to return next year!

A great property in a beautiful urbanisation. Centrally located with easy access to buses, restaurants and torrevieja. Lago jardin is just perfect and Dave's house is clean and welcoming anyone staying here would have a perfect holiday.

Excellent property - wonderful service

Really happy stay for all of us. 4 people stayed in total and we had plenty of room to enjoy. Picking the key up was easy to do - Dave and Rob were really friendly and helpful. The property was near to many areas: we went as far as Benidorm (Mundomar well worth a visit); Murcia and Torrevieja obviously. We look forward to visiting again. As an indication of how good the stay was I often judge when there is a problem. Had a minor issue with our toilet and it was resolved painlessly and helpfully within 24 hours - very impressive.

A short bus ride, or 10 mins in the car will take you to Torrevieja seafront. There are many lovely sandy beaches along the Costa Blanca. All the main beaches are blue flag to meet EU standards and you will find pedalos, jet skis and all the usual water sports. Many have beach bars or cafes and sun loungers for hire. Because of the very hot climate in this area, you will see people swimming and sunbathing during the winter months.


Alicante, or Murcia airport are less than 30 mins away. Private Taxi can be arranged from either airport at a cost of €35 each way.


There are many restaurants and bars in the local area. A short walk away, approx 10 mins, is a complex with local shops, bars and restaurants, and a mini-market. There is a very good Chinese, fish and chip shop, steak house and family run brasserie. Another complex is a further 5 min walk away.

A well stocked supermarket can be reached within 5 minutes walk for all your needs.

Taxi fare 45€ each way from either Alicante or Murcia airport, where taxi service is required, there will be no charge for the meet and greet with the key.

Whether you just want to laze in the sun and relax or explore the local area, this is the ideal base. Locally are 2 water parks, nature reserve, museums, safari park, boat trips and funfair on the seafront. Further afield you can get to Murcia, Cartegena and Elche, some lovely historical towns.

Changeover Day:
Rentals can start from any day of the week. Access to the property on the day of arrival is normally from midday. The property must be vacated by midday on the day of departure to allow for cleaning prior to the arrival of the next occupants.
