About the Owner

My husband and I have owned a property in the Antibes area for over fifteen years. During this time we have made many and frequent visits to Antibes throughout the year and now have many friends in the area. Christmas and New Year in Antibes have been special times for us and we have combined relaxing for the festivities with skiing in the Alpes-Maritimes (one hour’s drive away) with sailing around the Isles de Lérins the following day.

As we now have more spare time we tend to make less frequent visits but for longer periods and we spend most of the winter and spring at the villa.

We began renting the villa in the summer of 2015 and received glowing reviews from our tenants. In 2016 we have decided to offer our villa for rent from June to September.

The owner, the lady who looks after the villa and the villa itself are all just wonderful. Cannot recommend highly enough and we are hoping to return again next year for longer as we had such a great time!!

What a wonderful villa

What a delightful find! My fiancé and our 4 children stayed here for a week from 7th Aug and we were thoroughly impressed with the accommodation. The villa is a lovely mix of traditional and modern, with a huge array of equipment at your disposal. As someone who enjoys cooking the kitchen was an absolute dream, with a range cooker, every possible gadget/utensil and a very impressive 'Kitchen Aid' American style fridge/freezer! The bedrooms were very comfortable, with ample space and the bathrooms were very modern. The WiFi worked extremely well (think 4 teenagers all on it at the same time!). The garden and pool area are very well maintained by the friendly ground staff and the pool itself is a perfect size, with heating available if needed. The villa is a mere 200 meters from a beautiful lighthouse & chapel set in what could well be the highest point in the Riviera, with magnificent views stretching from Cannes to Nice and beyond. All in all a very, very impressive villa.

Beautiful property in fantastic location

The villa is contemporary, very tastefully furnished and fantastically well equipped to cater for all needs on a family holiday. The swimming pool was a particular highlight for the kids. Located in a peaceful neighbourhood in the heart of cap d'antibes, yet easy walking to beaches, shops, attractions. Good connections to bus routes and train station if you want to go further afield, though hard to drag yourself away from the joys of the property! Great customer service from the owners and the team who look after the property on the ground. Highly recommended.

PERFECT LOCATION

Impeccable!! This is not a normal “holiday rental.” It is very obviously a very special home to its owners, very tastefully decorated and equipped. We were thoroughly impressed with the amount of equipment left for those wishing to cook and cater at home, we did not want for anything.

Ideally located close to the beaches on Cap d’Antibes and a walk away from the shops and restaurants in Antibes, and not so far from Juan Les Pins.

Beautiful contemporary villa in great location

Just returned from a week's stay at the villa with grown-up family members. Location was perfect - a short walk from the beach, and a longer walk or short drive into Antibes old town. Spent lovely days relaxing by pool, dipping in and out, or on the beach. Villa is spacious and has everything you could possibly need; immaculately clean, modern and comfortable. Bathrooms/showers all of high quality and kitchen seemed brand new and incredibly well equipped. Great week and would definitely recommend! Thanks to Cherry and her local helpers who were all incredibly helpful!

Wonderful Villa in a prime location

Right in the heart of the Cap and moments from the sea, this villa had everything for a memorable holiday. The owners were extremely helpful, and their care in ensuring our stay was as comfortable as it could be reflects in the attention to detail noticeable throughout the villa. Its proximity to the sea, shops and Anitbes old town, make this a perfect place to stay.

Day trips from Antibes can include the market at Vengtimiglia (just over the Italian border), visits to the typical hill towns (Mougins, Vence, Biot, La Turbie, Valbonne), the bustle of Nice, lunching in Villefranche, strolling by the harbour in Monte Carlo, relaxing in the cafés of the Croisette in Cannes, shopping in the luxury stores of the rue d’Antibes in Cannes. San Tropez, Aix en Provence and Marseille (city of culture 2013) are all reachable within two hours. Or, just visit the famous Antibes Marché Provencal, have a light lunch in a sea-front café and spend the afternoon on the beach, or get away from the crowds and relax by the pool.

Coast/Beach:

10 minutes walk to nearest beach at Antibes (Salis Beach). Street parking is also available at Salis Beach so also accessible by car. Numerous other local beaches at Antibes and Juan Les Pins.

The villa is available to rent during April, May & June 2016 at Euros 4,000 (or Pounds 3,150) per week and July, August & September at Euros 4,500 (or pounds 3,800). Rent can be paid by bank transfer in Euros or sterling.

To confirm a booking we require a non-refundable deposit of 35% the balance of 65% being required four weeks before letting commences. In addition a refundable security deposit of Euros 2,780 (pounds 1950) is required at the time letting commences.

The only charged extra is the metered cost of electricity consumed during the rental period.

A none-refundable holding deposit of 35% of the rental is required on booking, with the remaining balance of 65% due 4 weeks before the rental commences.

We bought the villa in October 2011 and in 2013/14 extended and upgraded it to reflect our vision of life on the Cap d’Antibes in sympathy with the style of the existing Provençal villa. The result is a 2015 specification property set in a lush garden. Designed for simplicity of occupation, all accommodation is on the ground floor except for bedroom three and en-suite on the first floor. The heated pool is near to the villa with al-fresco dining on the terrace adjacent to the kitchen. The villa is very light and airy. Sunlight entry is regulated by electrically controlled roller shutters to the roof lights in the kitchen and living room. Additionally there is under-floor heating (cooling) plus air conditioning in the bedrooms The beach is a short walk away, town 20 minutes
