You also have the optional extra of having breakfast in our Breakfast room in our B&B within the same grounds.

We have lived in Mawgan Porth for 14 years and have been running our little B&B Seavista for 10 years, my husband is a Supervisor for the RNLI with the Beach Lifeguard Service, looking after all the beaches from Mawgan Porth to Crantock. Our little boy Barnaby is 5 - we all love the beach and surfing and feel really lucky to live where we do! x

High spec property, with the most amazing view!

We have just returned from a fabulous week at The Lodge!

These are all the positives .....

The view (amazing!), the location, the hot tub, the Nespresso machine, comfy beds, lovely bed linen, great showers & nice welcome pack.

Negatives? Only 1 - we had to buy soap as it wasn't provided, but really, I think that was it!

Looking forward to return trip!

What a gem of a place. Everything has been thought of and is very stylish and comfortable and a credit to the lovely owners. Outside the view is outstanding. Can't wait to return. Perfect except for the fact that I don't live there!

If John Lewis did holiday lets... Classy, peaceful, relaxing and with breathtaking surroundings!

The photo’s on this one don’t do it justice... a great quality lodge decorated/furnished to a high standard, in a good location near to a beautiful beach. Family run with a smile and a can do/ nothing too much attitude.

The lodge was fresh and clean as you would expect, and the beds were comfy - everything you would need is provided.

We stayed for a long weekend over the May bank holiday (two couples and a bulldog) and thoroughly enjoyed it! Ate at the local pubs and did a day trip to St Ives and to a Cider farm, and spent some time down on the breathtaking beach that was a 5 minute walk down the hill.

A few bits like bread/eggs etc in the well equipped kitchen was a nice touch – and the log burner would of been great had it been cold enough to warrant it!

I think there should of been some pegs or a towel rail by the hot tub so I didn’t have to leave my towel on a table whilst I gazed at the stars with a cold drink.... and when that’s your biggest problem in life you know you are onto a winner!

I’d recommend this to anyone, and i’ve a feeling we will be back!

Mawgan Porth has always been a special place for us, it has the most beautiful beach with great surf and in recent years we have been so lucky to be surrounded by fabulous restaurants - also for those of you who like a bit of pampering we have the most wonderful spas just a stones throw away - we also have a lovely therapist who offers treatments in the Lodge and Loft for the ultimate in relaxation!

Nearest Airport : Newquay Airport at 3 Miles Nearest Barpub : Traveller's Rest at 800 Metres Nearest Golf : Merlin Golf Club at 2 Miles Nearest Train : Newquay at 8 Miles Nearest Motorway : A30 at 8 Miles Nearest Restaurant : Off the Beach at 500 Metres Nearest Beach : Mawgan Porth at 500 Metres Car: recommended


We are a 5-10 minute walk to the beach of Mawgan Porth, or a 5 minute drive to the famous Watergate Bay Beach. Other surf beaches are a short distance away and the calm coastal villages on the South Coast from 30 minutes drive.


Newquay Airport only a 5 minute drive from here, they offer Car Hire or we are only too happy to provide transfers.

Car Hire is recommended as public transport in Cornwall can be rather long winded


There are a couple of shops in Mawgan Porth with a very well stocked convenience store, ice cream and beach goods shop. There are some great eateries close by including a few fabulous 'local's secret spots!'

Padstow is only 8 miles away, as is Newquay in the other direction. Truro around a 30 minute drive from here

Seavista is in one of Cornwall’s best locations to explore the beautiful county. It is centrally positioned between two of the region’s most popular towns, just 4 miles to Newquay and 8 miles to Padstow and surrounded by golden sandy beaches, the best coastline in the UK and lots of things to do and see.

Head north to Padstow and Tintagel, east to the Eden Project, south to Falmouth and west to Lands’ End. Discover the hidden treasures of Cornwall aboard the historic railways, cycle along the mineral tramways, or ferry hop between the great gardens and waterside towns of the south coast. Our property Seavista has changed a lot over the years from when we bought it over 10 years ago, but the reason we bought the property was 100% the view and that has not changed! And we never get bored of the changing landscapes with the seasons and the sea calm or stormy always an amazing sight!

  • Outside: The Lodge has its' own private Hot Tub and two loungers with a outdoors dining table and chairs The Loft Apartment shares a decking area with our B&B.it has comfy rattan sofas and chairs, with a fantastic view to the beach - it is rarely in use so you will have lots of time to yourself out there!
