This beautiful villa lying in the vine growing valley of Hondon de las Nieves, with the mountains of Serra de la Cava to the north and Serra de Crevillent in the south, is situated in the district of Alicante. Hondon de las Nieves boasts the feel of a typical Spanish village, with its friendly bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Located south west of Alicante on the Costa Blanca, this area is well known for its superb beaches and excellent golf courses along with limitless walks and cycle rides where you can find a huge variety of bird and plant species. Set in the valley with pine covered mountains, it is a beautiful sight all year round with great weather, the summers are hot and winters quite mild. Satellite TV is provided so no need to miss your favorite TV programmes. There is a private swimming pool with private garden and terraces and sun beds giving a beautiful 360 degree view of the mountain scenery. The nearby village of Hondon de las Nieves is less than 2 Km away and Hondon de los Frailes less than 7km away. They both have a selection of shops, banks, bars and restaurants and still retain their traditional Spanish feel. You can also visit the local bodegas where very good, locally produced wine can be sampled and purchased. A larger selection and bigger shops are available at the nearby towns of Albatera, Aspe or Elche. For a special view of the scenery on your way to the shops, it's worth a drive to Albatera over the mountain. There are numerous golf courses around the area, Font de Llop and Club de Golf Alenda to name just two. The beaches are approximately 30-40 minutes away by car. Two hypermarkets - Eroski and Carrefour can be found, a short drive away, in the nearby town of Elche within large shopping malls. The Villa is within easy drive of both Alicante Airport, 30 minutes drive, or Murcia Airport 45 minutes drive.

We love the beaches and the area and we do hope you will enjoy this area too!

The area is tranquil and peaceful along with being hot and sunny most of the year around. The Spanish people are very friendly and the two nearby villages are typically Spanish, although a large number of people do speak English.

Beautifully clean villa and good location.. Most spectacular views and scenery with the mountains and great for walking. Great hosts on checking everything ok and explaining local areas to visit and there if you need them. I would most definitely return and recommend to everyone. Me and my family had a really great experience while staying at the valencia villa, we had all the facilities we needed to enjoy our stay the best we could. We will definitely be returning to this villa as it was the perfect stay for me and my family.

Located in a tranquil setting with beautiful 360º views of the surrounding mountains. This villa offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the coast. The village of Hondon de las Nieves is five minutes away with local bars, cafés and shops. This tastefully decorated and furnished villa with its private pool is ideal for people who want to enjoy the real Spain in a relaxed atmosphere which benefits from an all-year-round warm climate and is in easy reach of the many coastal attractions.

There are numerous beaches available to visit, approximately 30-40 minutes away by car, these include Santa Pola, Guardamar and La Marina to name a few.


The Villa is within easy drive of both Alicante Airport, 30 minutes drive, or Murcia Airport 45 minutes drive. Both airports are serviced by Ryanair, Easy Jet, Thomson and Thomas Cook, Jet2 along with other major airlines. All major car hire companies are available in both airports.

Car Hire is essential.


The nearby village of Hondon de las Nieves is less than 2 Km away and Hondon de los Frailes less than 7km away. They both have a selection of shops, banks, bars and restaurants and still retain their traditional Spanish feel. Aspe is a 20 minute drive away, with its coffee shops, bars , shops and banks. The city of Elche is 25 minutes away, Alicante 30 minutes away and Benidorm approx. 50 minutes away.

Hondon de las Nieves is a traditional Spanish village with a large pedestrian area (plaza de la villa) flanked by restaurants and bars encouraging “el fresco” eating and drinking. Central restaurant & bar is typically English. El Bocadito gourmet is a nice “eating and drinking” restaurant, with a glass conservatory at the front with views directly onto the pedestrian area. There are several restaurants and bars both Spanish and English serving a variety of food to suit all tastes including a burger bar and a roast chicken take away. Nieves has a few well placed and stocked supermarkets/shops. One of which is English, a 24hr 'la tienda' (shop), spotlessly clean butchers, a fresh bread bakery, a newsagent, couple of banks, hairdressers, gift shops, a post-office, a school, a large multi-sport centre, tobacconist, bodega wine merchants and a well stocked chemist. There's also a local doctor. Market days in the village are Wednesday and Saturday plus there is an indoor weekday market selling fresh local produce. Saturday morning has a lovely atmosphere with all the villagers buying their weekend supplies, children playing in the plaza (main square) and the al fresco nature of the bars and restaurants.

Hondon de las Frailes is another typical Spanish village with many restaurants and bars – an Irish bar and Indian takeaway. A great coffee shop called richards and a café/restaurant called restaurante Veintiocho which is worth a visit. A supermarket, bread shop (la panderia), butchers (carniceria), post office (correos), tobacconists, bank and church. There is also a supermarket called “Arkwrights” selling a number of English products. Market days are Tuesday and Thursday mornings

something both Nieves and Frailes excel in, is the fiesta season. For small villages they really do 'push the boat out'. The fireworks are amazing, costumes just as amazing and their hospitality is welcoming, fiestas in Hondon valley can be very colourful.
