Great property, great location

  • 5 of 5

Our party loved our stay here.

It had everything we could have wanted and the location was perfect.

The only thing we found a negative was the thundering around from the children above early morning but wouldnt put us off staying here again.

Although a nice family in apartment upstairs, the 5 children run around on the floorboards very early in the morning making alot of noise. We had no heating for two days and there were no extra blankets to keep warm. Facilities are not good enough for the money you pay, there is only one tiny bin in the kitchen for the whole apartment, no wardrobe in one of the bedrooms and glasses are too small. We wanted to stay until 6pm on the last day which we said at the beginning, we were told this was fine but not told until the last minute the cost and it was overpriced. Considering the heating was broken for two days we thought it was expensive and he left us no time to make other arrangements. To Top it all, a week had passed and we had heard nothing about our remaning deposit, when we asked he said he was keeping it. When we were there an accident happened when our child was playing football with the children upstairs, the neighbours small window was broken. We agreed with the neighbour that we would pay them for the damage and the owner of the rental said it was nothing to do with him. But when it came to getting our deposit back, he said he was paying and it conveniently came to our deposit amount! The Window took three weeks to fix and was only fixed after our relative that lives in Stirling went to discover it had not been fixed. He also said that we had broken a clothes aira that was already broken and useless, no washing line or tumble dryer either. We believe he would have done anything to keep our deposit money, as the window should not have cost this much to replace and he also should have home insurance to which excess would not cost this. His communications were bad and he is hard to get hold of. We would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Owner's Response: Feedback is a gift - like all gifts sometimes you get something that you neither like nor want and you just have to smile and express your thanks. It is much easier to accept that unwanted gift when it is given honestly and sincerely rather than maliciously and with the intent to discredit and harm a reputation. I could spend time going through this review and answering each of the inaccuracies and lies that have been written but I wont lower myself to that. Instead I will acknowledge it for what it is, tan attack from someone who is unhappy at being forced to take responsibility for their actions despite numerous threats and attempts to devolve the blame to someone else.I will also share a few of the excellent reviews I have received and let potential visitors decide for themselves. Daniel was an excellent host, responsive, informative and very helpful. His place is high quality throughout with thoughtful touches where-ever we looked. The location is perfect, quiet but close to shops and restaurants with a spectacular view of Stirling Castle through the front window. Graham - Australia Oct 15 The Victoria Square Home was perfect for us. It was very well decorated, very clean, and had everything that we needed for our stay. The location was wonderful. We were on a lovely square and were able to look up at Stirling Castle on the top of the hill. It was walkable to restaurants, Stirling Center, and to the Train Station. We hope to return and share the Victoria Square Home with other members of our family. Joy -Buffalo NY -Oct 15 Dealing with Daniel was an absolute pleasure. He took care to communicate really well, answered all of our questions well in advance and was on hand if we needed any assistance. The property itself was well appointed, situated within a quiet park area and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The stay was very pleasant and comfortable.Lorraine -Sept 15 We really enjoyed our stay in Scotland. The apartment was very spacious and clean. It was tastefully decorated, maintaining a balance between traditional and contemporary. We were very delighted to find that the kitchen was fully equipped with most of the things that a family would need for their stay. The apartment also features a secure parking space and is in a lovely and peaceful area of Stirling, away from traffic yet close enough to famous attractions

First class apartment in Stirling city centre.

  • 5 of 5

I have just had the most amazing break staying in this lovely apartment in a highly sought after location situated in Stirling city centre and close to Stirling Castle.

Superb, modern accommodation so comfortable with a very welcoming feel as soon as you walk through the door.

The owners have thought of everything to make your stay a memorable one. It had a nice outdoor decking area for chilling out times.

Cannot fault this apartment for a first class break in Central Scotland.

Thank you I will be back and recommend my family and friends come for a visit too.

First class appartment in a very centric location in Stirling

  • 5 of 5

As Daniel previously said, a review is always a gift and we wanted to reward Daniel for his hospitality. We spent 5 lovely days in this flat in Stirling, Daniel was a very available and helpful guest. The appartment is great and spacious and located in a very peaceful area, also very central, you can easily go to the castle and/or the station walking.

Stirling - Appartement

  • 5 of 5
