Apartment in Anarita, Paphos, Cyprus - Luxurious Apartment in a peaceful traditional Cypriot village,surrounded by glorious countryside

Our luxurious 5*1st floor 2bed apartment is situated in the peaceful, friendly and beautiful village of Anarita.

Anarita is just a fifteen minute drive from Paphos Airport and offers an idyllic rest from the hustle and bussle of everyday life.

Our apartment incorporates an extremely large L shaped external terrace with an extensive covered area and a smaller balcony accessed from Bedroom 2.

The Apartment is situated at the end of a small 3 storey block and has beautiful views over the surrounding countryside with sea views to the west.

A lift is available and there is ample parking available directly outside the front entrance to the apartment block.

The area is easily accessible from Anarita offers beautiful beaches, mountains and wonderful history to explore, together with some of the best golf courses in Europe

About Colin Krelle

I am a Londoner by birth and lived and worked my whole life in the south east of England, mostly in the centre of London, where I worked as a Quantity Surveyor.

My wife and I recently retired and now live in the East Midlands.

We have two children, the eldest a daughter Claire and our son Stuart who is 18moths younger. Both are married with each having a son

Why Colin Krelle chose Anarita

We had holidayed in Cyprus a few times and liked the island a lot, particularly Paphos where we decided to purchase

We had always wanted a holiday home and with the obvious advantages that Cyprus offers, (i.e. language, driving on the same side and electrics) we purchased the apartment `off plan` in 2007. The financial crisis delayed completion but we are delighted with the finished article.

With the demands of family and grandchildren we do not use it as much as we would like so decided to start renting 2years ago to help pay the bills.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is ideally positioned at the South end of a small two storey block of apartments overlooking a beautiful infinity pool, with views out to sea. The terrace is in sunshine throughout the day.

The apartment has a huge outside terrace which wraps around two sides and has three sets of concertina doors from the lounge, two of which open onto a covered section of the terrace.

There is also a smaller balcony which is accessed through patio doors from one of the bedrooms

Notes on accommodation: Property is strictly `NO SMOKING` Children at Owners discretion depending on age. Pets not allowed Bedroom windows are fitted with fly screens and external shutters. The external covered area has fully retractable floor to ceiling screens to enclose the area in bad weather. Internet Access. A 50inch wall mounted TV is available with wi fi internet availability & an Android unit to access UK TV programmes, Films & Shows. Outside: The apartment boasts a superb Large `L` shaped outdoor terrace with extensive covered area containing two x 2 seat sofas, a large comfy chair,foot stall & coffee table. A family sized dining table & chairs to seat six, large bbq, two sun terrace areas with 2 sun loungers & 2 parasols Numerous pots mostly filled with Cactii plants. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. Sea views to the west, the pool area to the south & below, views of the hills & unspoilt countryside to the East, where on some days the local goat herds can be seen. The complex itself has been beautifully landscaped to a very high specification and together with the pool area is regularly cleaned and maintained by the Developer. The pool area has shower and toilet facilities with a further 2 pools on the complex all of which are available. A children's Play Area is available with swings and a roundabout Towels,Linen ,and bedding is provided. If required a weekly Maid Service can be organised locally, by the tenant, at extra cost

The apartment was well planned and exquisitly furnished and decorated. Truly great terrace with separate areas for sunbathing, dining, grill and sitting both in sun and shade.

Everything met and exceeded our expectations. We had a great time!

Beautiful Appartment

The apartment had everything we could wish for everything so modern clean and tidy the balcony was great always had a great brease and outside furniture was very comfortable it was spot on would highly recommend it we have been going to Cyprus for 26 years for our main holiday and it has been the best appartment by far we will be back

True luxury!

We stayed in this superb apartment for just over five weeks. The photos do not do it justice! Everything about it shouted"quality". The apartment had every facility that we needed and was absolutely pristine. Both the owner and those who manage the apartment in his absence were friendly, caring and very helpful. We could not have wished for more and having rented a number of properties over the years fromOwners Direct this tops the list. We have no hesitation in recommending this to our friends and family. On a final note Anarita is a lovely village where the residents are friendly and welcoming. All the restaurants there were good and with the ease of getting into Paphos and the surrounding countryside this makes the village a very good location.

The area is within easy reach of a number of beaches.

The two closest beaches are Timi Beach and the beach at Mandria, both of which are within a ten minute drive.

Timi beach has eating facilities on the beach.

Mandria is an attractive town with numerous eateries.

Further afield are Pissouri and Coral Bay approximately 30mins & 40mins respectivly by car


The nearest Airport is Paphos Airport which is a 10mins drive.

Larnaca Airport is easily accessed by the A6 motorway and is approx. a 90mins drive

Car Hire is a must have for the area and is highly recommended.


Anarita Village is a 5mins walk

Paphos is a 20mins drive

Mandria is a 10mins drive

Limassol is approx. 50mins by car

Pissouri is approx. 30mins by car

Coral Bay is approx. 40mins by car

Paphos Airport is 10mins by car

Golf Courses 10mins drive

Troodos Mountains is approx. 1hr by car

Further Details:

With the climate that Cyprus has to offer there are numerous activities to keep you busy.

For the very active the local beaches offer numerous water sports options (swimming, diving, etc...) and interests for all ages. Alternatively for the less active a nice sun lounger by the pool or on the beach with a nice cool drink is another option.

If your interests lie away from the beach Troodos and the mountains offer a wonderful alternative with its many walks,climbing opportunities and skiing in the winter months.

The area could not be much better for keen golfers as there are two superb golf courses within a ten minute drive of the apartment and other courses within an hours drive.

Anarita itself has a number of restaurants and bars mostly within walking distance and Mandria also offers a great selection of restaurants just 10 mins away by car.

Alternatively Paphos has a multitude of eateries ranging from Italian, French, Indian & Chinese to many other national quisines.

Some of the fish restaurants are superb and one of our favourites, Ocean Basket, in Paphos provides wonderful fish dishes at a very reasonable price.

Of course the various nearby villages offer local Cypriot food also at very reasonable prices

If you prefer to `eat in` there are many supermarkets in Paphos. There is also a local supermarket about a 5mins drive away and a smaller supermarket in Anarita itself which is within walking distance.

Banks are widely available with many ATM machines

Of course the island is steeped in history and there are many wonderful monastry`s and churches dotted all over together with the famous `Tomb of the Kings` in Paphos
