A lovely property in a quiet location with everything you need for a great holiday.

The Barn was small but perfectly formed and tastefully decorated and the kitchens cupboards were well stocked with everything you need. The garden is pleasant and secure with a lovely seating area to enjoy an evening drink in the setting sun. The property is in a quiet rural community but everything you need is within a short drive away including a Starbucks which scored bonus points for me! It was great to be able to take our 2 springer spaniels and they enjoyed a couple of the complimentary biscuits, whilst I enjoyed the bubbly and chocolates. We would definately return and reccommend to others.

WOW a true home from home

  • 5 of 5

Well equipped, well maintained, beautiful cosy warm cottage. Nice little touches throughout. Having stayed over Christmas the added decorated tree was lovely as was the champange and truffells. A truly relaxing property, with the weather being awful we were quite happy to walk, get wet, eat at the Kirkstile Inn and return to this delightful warm house. Bed was comfy, nice clean environment. Certainly would recommend a stay ,

Lovely property, great location. All you could want was there.

Sadly we had to cut our holiday short as I fell and broke my femur. Morag could not have been kinder about our predicament. We were so sorry that we had to come home early. All our plans were dashed.

The barn was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our short time there.

Great place, well equipped kitchen. Warm and cosy after a wet and windy walk around Buttermere!

Great to be able to bring the dog.
