Super relaxing holiday

We stayed here last week and truly had the best description of the place was on point and in fact doesn't do it justice compared to what you actually get. We were overwhelmed by how tranquil the place was an how much we got.

The property itself is well maintained and so spacious. There was loads of nice added extras like a dishwasher and washing machines and dryers which was lovely to have in case we needed them.

We arrived to have a beautifully prepared hamper of bread, drinks, wine chocolates and cake. The cakes, chocolate and bread was to die for. The owners had even left instruction of where they got everything from, in case we wanted to go and buy some ourselves.

The welcome booklet was full of useful information about the property, local beaches and things like where to get food. All of this was welcomed information, especially since this was our first time in Devon.

We visited the town of Barnstaple which was about 40 minutes away but definitely worth a look around as there are such a wide variety of shops to choose from. We went kayaking on the river torridge after seeing a leaflet that was left in the property cabinet and also visited the zoo. There is so much to do and so little time to do it in. I would also highly recommend going to Fat Belly Fred's seafood in Barnstaple, not only is the meaning behind the name entertaining but it is also a wonderful fresh seafood restaurant.

The house also came with a bbq which we took full advantage of and had a wonderful bbq while enjoying the views.

As for the hot tub, I don't even know where to start. It was so lovely to sit back and relax listening to the local wildlife and enjoying the views.

The owners were also such lovely people they acted like family, they were always on hand to answer any questions that we had and help us if we had any queries.

I can't explain how perfect this holiday was and would truly recommend it for anyone who wants a holiday away from all the hussle and bussle of everyday life.
