Bungalow in Beverley, Yorkshire, England - Sunny Enclosed Garden With Off-road Parking

Unlike other properties, our bungalow "Minster Chimes" is genuinely located close to the centre of the historic market town of Beverley. It is only 5 minutes’ walk to numerous shops, restaurants and public houses. There are good rail and bus links to Hull (City of Culture 2017), York and the Yorkshire coast. No car required!

Sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms with plenty of storage space. The sunny and spacious kitchen diner faces south with an enclosed pleasant garden area and patio with garden furniture. There is a cosy lounge with a gas fire and a spacious bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Facilities include flat screen TV and DVD, free WiFi, microwave oven, washing machine. A sofa bed in the dining area allows more flexibility in sleeping arrangements.

Free off road parking is available at the front of the property.

Recently Minster Chimes was the temporary home to visitors working on the new Flemingate shopping centre and we received this feedback:

"Hi Julia,

If I could say that Morton Lane accommodation in Beverley was really comfortable and it was a pleasure after a long days work knowing that I was going back to something that was home from home and could unwind very easy. The facilities within the home was second to none and all I had to supply was the food. Everything from clean linen, books to read and TV to watch were all at hand. Lastly the location of the bungalow was very handy as we didn't have our own transport so it was 15minutes walking to and from our workplace, 10minutes walking to the train station and a large Tesco was right across the street. Beverley town centre was also only approximately about minutes away.

I would like to thank Graham and yourself for the comfort of your own home, best of wishes and would look forward to returning one day if we ever get another project in the lovely town of Beverley. Adrian"

About Julia Smith

My husband and I have lived in historic Beverley for over 20 years and we have loved every moment of it. From the rear of the bungalow you will be able to spot the roof of Beverley Minster and it is possible to enjoy the unusual melodic chimes every 15 minutes. I really enjoy wandering around the markets and popping into the small specialist shops. There are numerous superb eating and drinking venues within easy walking distance of Minster Chimes and it is an excellent base to visit the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds. We hope you will come and visit and discover Beverley’s hidden gems and share our enjoyment.

Notes on accommodation: There is off-road parking at the front of the property suitable for one, possibly 2 small cars. The property is centrally heated and is non-smoking. We regret that no pets are allowed. Outside: The enclosed, south facing garden has a patio set. When the weather is kind it is a real sun trap. There are colourful flowering shrubs and perennials in the surrounding borders. Utility Room: The utility room is home to the fridge freezer and washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen, towels and a hair-dryer are provided. The property is thoroughly cleaned after each rental.

Lovely clean bungalow in great location

The bungalow was just right for us, very clean and well equiped. The parking and garden was a bonus. Our 2 little girls loved running round the garden. The location of the bungalow is great too, you are just a few minutes walk away from the centre of town and its a beautiful town. We went to The Deep in Hull for the day and its only a short drive or train journey there, well worth a visit. The owner Julia was so helpful and left us milk and biscuits. I would definatley recommend this bugalow to a friend.

Warm, comfortable, welcoming and clean.

It really is well situated for easy access to the town centre and railway station.

Parking in front was fine, thanks for the tip about the parking wardens.

The kitchen equipment is fine, though we didn't find any serving spoons, but not a major problem.

Overall a good choice and we would go back.

Had an excellent stay over Christmas. description is accurate with very well equipped kitchen, lovely warm rooms, comfortable beds, everything we needed. Appreciated the Christmas tree and flowers. Would certainly recommend and stay again.

Absolutely delightful place to be!

We've had a couple of days in this cottage. A really lovely, warm, cosy and comfortable home from home. Ammaculate and beautifully decorated. Beds were like sleeping on clouds. Kitchen was well equiped. Kids were so happy that they wanted to stay more. Every thing was up to the mark just a little problem with toilet as other reviewers said it was really under power. Thank you to the owner for welcome pack, a little extra for the guests. We will definitely come back to stay again.

extremely clean and homely

This property had a very homely feel to it and was very clean and well stocked. Added bonus was fresh flowers, a nice touch and tea/biscuits on arrival. Excellent location and parking space for 2 cars outside off street. Customer service from point of contact to end of stay was first class. As this was a family occasion the house suited us down to the ground as within easy walking distance, making the most of our weekend in Beverley. The house is aptly named as we could hear could hear the Minster Chimes, an added bonus
