If you are looking to rent a villa in the South of France then La Renardière may well be the answer. This light and spacious villa, with open plan dining and sitting area complete with stone fireplace, is a tastefully refurbished family home with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for rest and relaxation but within easy striking distance of all major attractions.There is a fully equipped out door kitchen which has 2 fridge and wine fridge and a dishwasher, as well as a BBQ and a pizza oven. A private pool, not over looked combined with fantastic view makes for a perfect seclusion, although minuets from a super market.

We are a professional couple with one daughter living in central London, we use our french home during some of the holidays and for long weekends. Our parents and friends visit often and we enjoy entertaining in our own space, cooking outside and relaxing. The house is our home not just a rental property, we like people that stay there to treat it like their home. this property is not normally rented out but due to work commitments we are unable to visit this year.

Why dawn wright chose Cannes - Grasse - Antibes

The Grasse area is full of lovely villages to explore, but close enough to the glamor of Cannes with its beaches and exclusive shops. Only 35 mins from Nice airport on good roads most of which are motor way or dual carriage way, we did not want to spend hours traveling from the airport. The express train stops at Antibes which is 15 mins away and the new Grasse station is a great bonus.

The house feels secluded and quiet, away from the hubbub but is only 4 mins away from a large supermarket (we did not wants a 30 min trek if we forgot the milk!). Located on a hill with panoramic views of the Esteril Mountains down to the sea (on a clear day you can see the boats) the house is not overlooked and and is on flat land, very rare in this part of the world.

What makes this villa unique

The House is near the super market and the towns nearby have great restaurants; the old town of Cabris is a short drive away. We have a chef that can (by direct arrangement with her) come in and cook. Her services range from a ‘drop off’ service where she will shop and prepare a meal and leave it with you to cook i.e. Marinated meat for the BBQ to a fully catered dinner party where she will shop, cook, serve and clean up afterwards.

Notes on accommodation: La Renardière is a charming Provencal style 4-bedroom villa situated in the beautiful Val du Tignet some 10 minutes from the famous town of Grasse and only 20 minutes from the glamor of Cannes on the Cote d’Azur. The villa is in a lovely hillside position and is not overlooked by any other property giving a feeling of true privacy. The villa is set in approximately 1.5 acres of land and benefits from tranquil surroundings with beautiful views towards the Esterell mountains. Outside: the villa is in 1 and a half acres of land, it has a private heated swimming pool, with a large Terrece and plenty of sunbeds, 2 terraces one near the indoor kitchen which is great for breakfast seats 8. the other large Terrace his next to the summer kitchen this has a gas BBQ and seating for 14. There is also a gym with Weight machine, cycle and power plate along DVD player Utility Room: Washing machine and dryer Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: towels and linen are included. Other: the snug room has a large flat screen DVD and a desk with printer.
