This apartment is NOT located in the countryside (campo) - it is actually perfectly situated the centre of the village of Frigiliana, within just a couple of minutes walking distance to ALL amenities. It is a luxury, classy, stylish apartment, purchased and completely refurbished to a high standard in mid 2015. We aim to ensure our guests enjoy a very comfortable and relaxing holiday so we have furnished and equipped the apartment accordingly! This is not just a basic holiday rental!

This spacious and modern 2 double bedroom and 2 bathroom (1 ensuite) very stylish 1st floor apartment in the Central Village location, just 13 steps from the main street, and 1 minute's stroll from the large communal pool complete with jacuzzi, sunbathing area with sunbeds and indoor & outdoor showers.

No struggling with pushchairs or luggage as the local car park is adjacent to this apartment and it's just 13 steps to the front door (so no big hills to climb!).

Heating / Air Conditioning is optional at £69 per week.

The luxuriously refurbished apartment benefits from a fully equipped fitted modern kitchen (including washing machine), leading into the spacious lounge which includes a flatscreen tv, dvd player, with FREE SKY TV (all the Sports, UK TV Channels & all Freeview channels in English, German, Russian etc.).

FREE Wi-Fi Internet is also included.

Large double doors lead from the lounge onto the private sunbathing/dining terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside with sea views. The sun terrace is equipped with an outdoor table and 4 director style chairs, 2 cushioned sun loungers and a free standing parasol for sunbathing in comfort!

The terrace has ample lighting, providing a perfectly relaxing evening dining option.

Delightful in every way!

Even though we arrived at an unsociable hour, we were warmly greeted by Sharon who helped us find a parking spot on a very busy night in Frigiliana. It is a most picturesque village. From first entering the apartment, it is obvious the owner has a special eye for interior design. Beautifully furnished and welcoming. Being a Beetle owner we loved the VW Beetle theme in pictures and paintings. Nice touch to find milk in fridge. Every necessary convenience available in apartment. South facing balconies with amazing view down valley and towards sea.

Highly recommend this beautiful apartment. Owner very prompt in replying to communication and in refunding deposit. Debbie and Sharon were also most helpful to us, as was their neighbour, when our car wouldn't start. They are two very special people and make sure everything is in order, without being intrusive. Sharon even moved our car for us early in am so we wouldn't get a fine! Pool very convenient and clean. Lots of lovely restaurants from which to choose. Frequent bus service to Nerja, only 1euro each way. We will definitely be back, if possible..

We met as strangers and left as friends! Thank you so much for a relaxing break, just what we needed!

The apartment was beautifully decorated and in a great location. Thoroughly reccomended.

The apartment was everything we hoped for, clean and beautifully decorated. It has a well appointed kitchen, two good size bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The balcony got the sun most of the day but also offered shade if needed.

It's location was excellent. A short walk from all that Frigiliana has to offer. We have been coming here regularly for fifteen years and this is one of the best apartments we have stayed in. The owners were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

We intend to stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

clean tidy and bright

the apartment is close to all the shops and restaurants and public transport

There are 25 free parking spaces available on a first come/first serve basis, in the car park immediately adjacent to the apartment, and plenty of free roadside spaces on both sides of the entire length of the main road. There is also a new central car park which holds 125+ cars (for a very small fee) just 5 minutes' walk from the apartment, so it is unfortunate (and unusual) that you found the parking a challenge. Lovely apartment in a good location. Short walk to most restaurants. Super views down to Nerja. Handy car park close by. Nice pool area also close by. Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a G & T.

I would not write anything but positive things about Debbie's place. It was perfect!

The apartment was spacious, well fitted and well furnished; the pictures didn't do it justice. The view from both balconies were beautiful.

Access to the shared pool was a short walk away. It had sun beds and was all very nice.

The location was central to frigliana and you only had to walk up more steps to be nestled in the beautiful streets of the old town.

Debbie was quick to get in touch and we had no issues with correspondence.

Incredibly convenient central location of this newly refurbished apartment, enabling very easy strolling distance to every local amenity (shops,restaurants, bars) within the beautiful village of Frigiliana, which has been voted the prettiest village in Andalucia by the Spanish Tourism Authority. Wide cobbled streets lined with white washed houses with many amenities, shops, restaurants and tapas bars located close to the apartment. Frigiliana has not yet been affected by the negatives which can often be associated with tourism - innumerable souvenir shops and over priced restaurants and bars, so it remains a joy to visit and enjoy. The apartment is modern and spacious and in immaculate condition. Please see the photographs taken in July 2015. There is a free local car park very conveniently situated adjacent to the apartment. This apartment is NOT located in the countryside (campo) - it is located in the centre of the Frigiliana village,

Coast/Beach:

Our apartment is perfectly located in the centre of Frigiliana village with NO steep climbs as the apartment is just 13 steps up from the main street!

Therefore ALL amenities (shops, bars, restaurants) are within a couple of minutes walking distance. We are located on the MA-5105 main road almost directly opposite the Frigiliana gymnasium, and the apartment benefits from the wonderful sea views from both balcony and terrace. Frigiliana has been voted the most beautiful Andalucian Village for more than 5 consecutive years. It's stunning white washed buildings are home to 2,300 people, yet it never feels crowded apart from on special Fiesta occasions! It has an abundance of choice with it's nearest beaches situated along the coastline towards Torrox or Nerja which is the closest, very popular large town (approx. 10 minutes drive by car). Burriana Beach is very lively with many bars & restaurants (approx 20 mins).

Travel:

Frigiliana is a 55 min. drive north by car, car hire is very popular, alternatively, buses can be taken direct from Malaga to Nerja (approximately 1 hour) with one change at Nerja for the next bus into the heart of Frigiliana (approximately 14 minutes). Buses can be taken from Nerja to Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla, Almeria. Taxi's from Malaga Airport to Frigiliana cost approx. 75 Euro's one way & taxi's from Frigiliana to Nerja cost approx. 15 Euro one way. Reg. local buses cost 1 Euro each way.

Distances:

There are many local supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants serving all varieties of cuisine within a short walk throughout the beautiful village of Frigiliana. For example, there is a fabulous coffee bar with indoor & outdoor seating just 30 seconds from the apartment and a well stocked convenience store just 1 minute away. The newly equipped gym is directly across the road from the apartment. A large well know supermarket chain can be located midway between Frigiliana and Nerja (6 kms).

Frigiliana is a stunningly beautiful, charming, superbly located, award winning village, just 3 kms from the main A7 motorway when driving south towards Malaga, and approximately 6 kms inland from the beaches and town of Nerja. Nestled at the base and upwards into the Sierra Almijara mountains, it is approx. 450m above sea level. It benefits from both mountain and sea views and offers great variety to the adventurous traveller, whilst providing the perfect escape for those seeking a relaxing getaway from the hassles of daily life! The local residents take great pride in their village and there is an abundance of flowers & bougainvilla stocked wrought iron balconies and terraces, even door steps, throughout the fascinating winding cobbled streets which lead from one end of the village to the other, it is simply the most unique and wonderful of the many Andalucian villages. Once visited, the beauty of Frigiliana is never forgotten. The village is popular with coach tours during the summertime when footfall increases around it's wonderful streets. There are ample opportunities to relax & enjoy the local wines & cuisines, restaurants cater for all tastes, a 'Foodie Heaven'!There is a fully working historic molases/honey factory which stands at the heart of central Frigiliana, (the local bus which runs to & from Nerja can be taken from just below this grand old factory). The village is surrounded by the country side, playing host to the many advocado & olive plantations.

100% payment. However, we accept 50% initial payment upon booking, with the remaining 50% payable no later than 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date (this method incurs an additional £10 surcharge, payable direct to the owner, to cover the Owners Direct website charges per each individual payment made using their Online Payment Service). There is a mandatory £50.00 administration charge against any/all cancellations to cover the property owners costs. Thank you.

Minimum stay of seven (7) days. all payments to be made in £/GBP via Owners Direct Secure Online Payment System. The standard £250 'Security against Damage or Loss' deposit is also required on the property - this must be paid no later than 21 days prior to your scheduled arrival, direct to the owner's HSBC bank account. This will be refunded in full within 48 hours of your departure from the apartment provided no loss or damage has occurred during your stay. Please note: Communal Pool Cards (if lost/misplaced during your stay) will EACH cost an additional 50 Euro's per card to replace. This is a communal set charge & cannot be waived.

Access to the apartment is from 15.00 hrs on your scheduled date of arrival.
All details for the key collection is provided by the owners once booking has been secured & full payment received.

Check Out by 10.30am on your scheduled day of departure. No late departures due to cleaning / changeover required lead time.

There are 2 key cards in the 'Welcome / Information' Pack which provide access to the gated pool area. (Turn right at the bottom of the steps on the main road, then walk for 1 minute and you will locate the entrance to the communal pool via a green gate, beyond which there are approximately 20 steps leading up to the raised communal pool area). The pool area contains a large sunbathing deck, 3 outdoor showers and individual internal male & female showers are included in the onsite bathrooms. There is a large shallow to deep pool which includes step/railing access and an integrated powerful jacuzzi. There are sun loungers and parasol bases. You are advised to bring your own parasol to the communal pool area). Two outdoor parasaols have been provided and are stored in the kitchen cupboard. Please do not remove the blue/white striped parasol from the apartment terrace. Utility Room: Washing machine & clothes airer & ironing board / iron are stored in the kitchen cupboard. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels & 4 sets of double bed linen provided. The property is professionally cleaned on 'Changeover Saturdays' only (in Mid/High season), when tenants vacate, prior to new tenants arriving. As this is a self catering apartment, it is not serviced. Other: UK Channels and Freeview Channels, SKY Sports and Free Wi-Fi. Air conditioning provides both hot and cold temperatures for all seasons.
