This apartment is NOT located in the countryside (campo) - it is actually perfectly situated the centre of the village of Frigiliana, within just a couple of minutes walking distance to ALL amenities. It is a luxury, classy, stylish apartment, completely refurbished to a high standard, which makes our guests feel 'at home' immediately upon arrival! We aim to ensure our guests enjoy a very comfortable and relaxing holiday and we have furnished and equipped the apartment accordingly! This apartment offers SO much more than any average basic holiday rental! Please check our guests' reviews to date!

This is a spacious and modern 2 double bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite containing 1 shower over a bath and the other containing 1 separate shower room). It is a very stylish 1st floor apartment in the Central Village location, just 13 steps from the main street, and 1 minute's stroll from the large communal pool complete with jacuzzi, sunbathing area with sunbeds and indoor & outdoor showers.

The large communal pool is open each year between 1st April or Easter (whichever is the later) to 30th October.

No struggling with pushchairs or luggage as the local car park is adjacent to this apartment and it's just 13 steps to the front door (so no big hills to climb!).

Heating / Air Conditioning is optional at an additional £69 per week / £9.86 per day.

The luxuriously refurbished apartment benefits from a fully equipped fitted modern kitchen (including washing machine), leading into the spacious lounge which includes a flatscreen tv, dvd player, SONY sound system and FREE unlimited SKY TV (all the Sports, UK TV Channels & all Freeview channels in English, German, Russian etc.).

FREE Unlimited Wi-Fi Internet is also included for the duration of your stay.

Large double doors lead from the lounge onto the private sunbathing/dining terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside with sea views. The sun terrace is equipped with an outdoor table and 4 chairs, a sofa and 2 further cushioned chairs with additional sun loungers and a free standing parasol for sunbathing in comfort!

The terrace has ample lighting, providing a perfectly relaxing evening dining option.

There is a hairdryer in the apartment - so no need to pack one!

Please do note: LATE ARRIVALS AT THE APARTMENT AFTER 10pm/22.00 hours incur an additional total of 25 euro surcharge - this is to cover our meet & greet costs outside of sociable hours.

The rental cost includes a one time set of all required bed linens and towels and, for all bookings of more than 9 nights, a separate set of bed linens and towels will also be stored in the apartment for guests to use. There is no daily maid/cleaning service with this apartment as it is designed as 'self catering' only.

Incredibly convenient central location of this newly refurbished apartment, enabling very easy strolling distance to every local amenity (shops,restaurants, bars) within the beautiful village of Frigiliana, which has been voted the prettiest village in Andalucia by the Spanish Tourism Authority. Professional Interior Design for additional comfort. Very well equipped apartment, much consideration has been given to cater for our guests' needs. The apartment contains all you would require for a relaxing vacation. Even a travel cot and a high chair can be made available upon request!

Wide cobbled streets lined with white washed houses with many amenities, shops, restaurants and tapas bars located close to the apartment. Frigiliana has not yet been affected by the negatives which can often be associated with tourism - numerous souvenir shops and over priced restaurants and bars, so it remains a joy to visit and enjoy.

The apartment is modern and spacious and in immaculate condition. Please see the photographs. There is a free local car park very conveniently situated adjacent to the apartment (on a first come first served basis). What makes this apartment unique

Luxury refurbishment with our guests' extra comfort and relaxation in mind! Short 1 minute walk from car to apartment front door. Just an easy 13 wide step gentle ascend to access the 1st floor apartment (easy for luggage and pushchairs!), which is located very close to the recently refurbished local Frigiliana Gymnasium. The wonderful large communal pool is a 1 minute stroll from the apartment and this is open between 1st April or Easter (whichever is later) to 30th October each year.

FERIAS Frigiliana - 11 to 14 June 2015 & 3 CULTURES FESTIVAL - 27 to 30 August 2015 Outside: There is a large communal pool for the sole use of residents only. There are 2 key cards in the 'Welcome / Information' Pack which provide access to the gated pool area. (Turn right at the bottom of the steps on the main road, then walk for 1 minute and you will locate the entrance to the communal pool via a green gate, beyond which there are approximately 20 steps leading up to the raised communal pool area). The pool area contains a large sunbathing deck, 3 outdoor showers and individual internal male & female showers are included in the onsite bathrooms. There is a large shallow to deep pool which includes step/railing access and an integrated powerful jacuzzi. There are sun loungers and parasol bases. You are advised to bring your own parasol to the communal pool area). Two outdoor parasaols have been provided and are stored in the kitchen cupboard. Please do not remove the blue/white striped parasol from the apartment terrace. Utility Room: Washing machine & clothes airer & ironing board / iron are stored in the kitchen cupboard. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels & 4 sets of double bed linen provided. The property is professionally cleaned on 'Changeover Saturdays' only (in Mid/High season), when tenants vacate, prior to new tenants arriving. As this is a self catering apartment, it is not serviced. Other: UK Channels and Freeview Channels, SKY Sports and Free Wi-Fi. Air conditioning provides both hot and cold temperatures for all seasons.

Perfect Little Gem

Everything about this apartment was fabulous and exactly as described. We had a lovely time and were also very lucky with the weather. The apartment is perfect for two couples having two good sized bedrooms and the two bathrooms is an added bonus. The situation is great, stunning views down the valley towards Nerja. There is easy access to the apartment and a level walk along the main road to get the bus or taxi if needed. The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was very well appointed and everything we needed we were able to find. Cannot recommend this apartment highly enough and the actual booking process was straight forward. We loved Frigiliana and cannot wait to return, hopefully sometime soon. Thank you to Debbie and Sharon for sharing their beautiful home.

Neat and tidy with lovely views

We were met at the property on arrival and were shown around the property and given keys etc. The property is very secure and contents are exactly as listed. The kitchen is small and has restricted food storage. The beds are firm. Clothing storage in the master bedroom is excellent. The property was very clean. The lounge has a great south-facing balcony where 4+ persons can sit in the fresh air with good views down the valley and of the sea.

There is a good selection of restaurants in close vicinity. The property location is hilly and not very suitable for persons with restricted mobility. However, there are some good restaurants near the town centre which are easier to access along the main road. We found some excellent restaurants further up the hill which are accessed by steep concrete pathways with many steps. The views from these restaurants are splendid!

Parking in the village can be troublesome and frustrating over religious holiday periods, but we managed. There is some noise from other apartments adjacent and from the road below, but this was not unreasonable.

The owner responded very quickly by email to a small issue we raised.

We are pleased you enjoyed the excellent & very competitive rates during your stay in the 2017 peak Easter period. As we were not in Spain during your stay, our friends met you on arrival for the Check in process. As the property is located on the road through the village of Frigiliana (the MA-5105) we were confused by your comment that "the apartment location is hilly & not very suitable for persons with restricted mobility" as the road through the village of Frigiliana is completely flat(?). We make sure to advise that, unfortunately, this apartment is not ideally suited for wheelchair access as there are 13 gradually sloping (non steep) steps to the front door of this 1st floor apartment, in our online advert. To avoid any steep steps to 'Calle Real' the best route is through the botanical gardens immediately adjacent to the apartment. These offer a gentle sloping incline with just a few steps at the very top as you enter onto 'Calle Real'. The village offers, quite literally, hundreds of local, free & unrestricted parking throughout & there is also a new central multi storey 'pay as you stay' (1 euro) car park, in addition to the 50 spaces available across each of the car parks at the bases of the 2 botanical gardens, located on the MA-5105 road. These are on a 'first come first served' basis as indicated in our online advertisement. During the Easter period many visitors arrive in Frigiliana for the Easter Parade & festival & various celebrations throughout the weekend, so you will have experienced less parking opportunity at this very popular time. We have not received any previous comments regarding "noise from other apartments adjacent to this apartment" & as there are only 3 other apartments on the 1st floor of this 3 storey development & 1 very large apartment above, we cannot fully understand from where you experienced the noise. The ground floor contains large storage facilities, hence there are no apartments on that level & 2 of our neighbours were away throughout Easter. You kindly made us aware of the small crack in the glass jug of the filter coffee maker &, as we were not in Spain during your stay, we recommended that you use the large steel caffetiere alternative located in the kitchen, during your stay. We hope this was a satisfactory solution and we'll replace the filter coffee jug upon our return to Spain. Thanks

an excellent and pristine apartment

Upon arriving at the apartment we were met by Sharon who was very friendly and welcoming and gave a comprehensive but concise tour of the property. The apartment was just as described and was spotlessly clean. The furnishings were high quality and the beds and bedding were as new. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we could need and the extra touches of the wine and beers was very much appreciated. Having been in Frigiliana several times before I was aware of the location of this apartment and it was ideal for accessing the whole village. Overall a perfect base and along with the owners friendliness is an ideal apartment and one that I would thoroughly recommend to anyone travelling to the area. Would definitely use again if available the next time we return.

A gem of an apartment!

My family and I spent a week in Sharon and Debbie's apartment in February/March this year. We received a lovely warm welcome from Sharon on arrival in Frigiliana. She showed us round the luxurious apartment and pointed out all the important points e.g. Gas, hot water and welcome pack which was gratefully received since we arrived on a Sunday! It was particularly helpful to know that Sharon lived next door and was happy to accommodate us with anything we needed. And we did need her on our third night of our holiday when we managed to lock ourselves out. We felt incredibly silly but Sharon took over and sent us away to have dinner. All was sorted on our return. She is a gem.

The apartment is beautifully decorated with some lovely touches. However the best bit for us was the stunnng view from the balcony which is smallish but cleverly and efficiently laid out.

Frigiliana is a gem of a find with its narrow streets and colourful shops. Sharon and Debbie's apartment is perfectly situated in the old town with easy access to all the best restaurants.

We will definitely return.

A beautifully presented flat, ideally located

A wonderful flat for a family of three. Beautifully decorated and has everything you'd want in the kitchen. The owners were incredibly helpful and 100% went beyond expectations. Thoroughly recommended.

From perspective of things to do nearby (in Feb) went to the Alhambra - 1 hr 15 mins, Lobo Park 1 hr 15 mins and otherwise the beach!

Delightful in every way!

Even though we arrived at an unsociable hour, we were warmly greeted by Sharon who helped us find a parking spot on a very busy night in Frigiliana. It is a most picturesque village. From first entering the apartment, it is obvious the owner has a special eye for interior design. Beautifully furnished and welcoming. Being a Beetle owner we loved the VW Beetle theme in pictures and paintings. Nice touch to find milk in fridge. Every necessary convenience available in apartment. South facing balconies with amazing view down valley and towards sea.

Highly recommend this beautiful apartment. Owner very prompt in replying to communication and in refunding deposit. Debbie and Sharon were also most helpful to us, as was their neighbour, when our car wouldn't start. They are two very special people and make sure everything is in order, without being intrusive. Sharon even moved our car for us early in am so we wouldn't get a fine! Pool very convenient and clean. Lots of lovely restaurants from which to choose. Frequent bus service to Nerja, only 1euro each way. We will definitely be back, if possible..

We met as strangers and left as friends! Thank you so much for a relaxing break, just what we needed!

Booking Notes:
100% payment. However, we accept 50% initial payment upon booking, with the remaining 50% payable no later than 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date (this method incurs an additional £10 surcharge, payable direct to the owner, to cover the Owners Direct website charges per each individual payment made using their Online Payment Service). There is a mandatory £50.00 administration charge against any/all cancellations to cover the property owners costs. Thank you.

Minimum stay of seven (7) days. all payments to be made in £/GBP via Owners Direct Secure Online Payment System. The standard £250 'Security against Damage or Loss' deposit is also required on the property - this must be paid no later than 21 days prior to your scheduled arrival, direct to the owner's HSBC bank account. This will be refunded in full within 48 hours of your departure from the apartment provided no loss or damage has occurred during your stay. Please note: Communal Pool Cards (if lost/misplaced during your stay) will EACH cost an additional 50 Euro's per card to replace. This is a communal set charge & cannot be waived.

Access to the apartment is from 15.00 hrs on your scheduled date of arrival.
All details for the key collection is provided by the owners once booking has been secured & full payment received.

Check Out by 10.30am on your scheduled day of departure. No late departures due to cleaning / changeover required lead time.
