This apartment is not located in the countryside (campo) - it is actually perfectly situated in the centre of the village of Frigiliana, within just a couple of minutes walking distance to all amenities. It is a luxury, classy, stylish apartment, completely refurbished to a high standard, which makes our guests feel 'at home' immediately upon arrival! We aim to ensure our guests enjoy a very comfortable and relaxing holiday and we have furnished and equipped the apartment accordingly! This apartment offers SO much more than any average basic holiday rental! Please check our guests' reviews to date!

This is a spacious and modern 2 double bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite containing 1 shower over a bath and the other containing 1 separate shower room). It is a very stylish 1st floor apartment in the Central Village location, just 13 wide easy steps from the main street, and 1 minute's stroll from the large communal pool complete with jacuzzi, sunbathing area with sunbeds and indoor & outdoor showers.

The large communal pool is open each year between 1st April or Easter (whichever is the later) to 30th October.

No struggling with pushchairs or luggage as the local car park is adjacent to this apartment with no big hills to climb!.

Heating / Air Conditioning is optional at an additional £70 per week / £10 per day.

The luxuriously refurbished apartment benefits from a fully equipped fitted modern kitchen including washing machine, leading into the dining area and lounge which includes a flatscreen tv, dvd player, SONY sound system and FREE unlimited SKY TV (all the Sports, UK TV Channels & all Freeview channels in English, German, Russian etc.).

FREE unlimited Wi-Fi Internet is also included for the duration of your stay.

Large double doors lead from the lounge onto the private sunbathing/dining terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside with sea views. The sun terrace is equipped with an outdoor table and 4 chairs, a sofa and 2 further cushioned chairs with additional sun loungers and a free standing parasol for sunbathing in comfort!

The terrace has ample lighting, providing a perfectly relaxing evening dining option.

There is a hairdryer in the apartment - so no need to pack one!

The rental cost includes a one time set up of all required bed linens and towels and, for all bookings of more than 8 nights, a separate set of bed linens and towels will also be provided for guests to use. There is no daily cleaning service with this apartment as it is designed as 'self catering' only.

There is a standard £250.00 security deposit against loss or damage, payable to the Owner prior to arrival. Details of the payment schedule will be communicated to the guest(s) via their Booking Confirmation. This is refundable within 48 hours of our guests' departure from the property.

Incredibly convenient central location of this newly refurbished apartment, enabling very easy strolling distance to every local amenity (shops,restaurants, bars) within the beautiful village of Frigiliana, which has been voted the prettiest village in Andalucia by the Spanish Tourism Authority. Professional Interior Design for additional comfort. Very well equipped apartment, much consideration has been given to cater for our guests' needs. The apartment contains all you would require for a relaxing vacation. Even a travel cot and a high chair can be made available upon request!

Wide cobbled streets lined with white washed houses with many amenities, shops, restaurants and tapas bars located close to the apartment. Frigiliana has not yet been affected by the negatives which can often be associated with tourism - numerous souvenir shops and over priced restaurants and bars, so it remains a joy to visit and enjoy.

The apartment is modern and spacious and in immaculate condition. Please see the photographs. There is a free local car park very conveniently situated adjacent to the apartment (on a first come first served basis). This apartment is NOT located in the countryside (campo) - it is located in the centre of the Frigiliana village,

Luxury refurbishment with our guests' extra comfort and relaxation in mind! Short 1 minute walk from car to apartment front door. Just an easy 13 wide step gentle ascend to access the 1st floor apartment (easy for luggage and pushchairs!), which is located very close to the recently refurbished local Frigiliana Gymnasium. The wonderful large communal pool is a 1 minute stroll from the apartment and this is open between 1st April or Easter (whichever is later) to 30th October each year.

(Turn right at the bottom of the steps on the main road, then walk for 1 minute and you will locate the entrance to the communal pool via a green gate, beyond which there are approximately 20 steps leading up to the raised communal pool area). The pool area contains a large sunbathing deck, 3 outdoor showers and individual internal male & female showers are included in the onsite bathrooms. There is a large shallow to deep pool which includes step/railing access and an integrated powerful jacuzzi. There are sun loungers and parasol bases. You are advised to bring your own parasol to the communal pool area). Two outdoor parasaols have been provided and are stored in the kitchen cupboard. Please do not remove the blue/white striped parasol from the apartment terrace. Utility Room: Washing machine & clothes airer & ironing board / iron are stored in the kitchen cupboard. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels & 4 sets of double bed linen provided. The property is professionally cleaned on 'Changeover Saturdays' only (in Mid/High season), when tenants vacate, prior to new tenants arriving. As this is a self catering apartment, it is not serviced. Other: UK Channels and Freeview Channels, SKY Sports and Free Wi-Fi. Air conditioning provides both hot and cold temperatures for all seasons.

Great apartment in the heart of Frigiliana.

Had a wonderful stay. Frigiliana is a lovely village with a great community feel and great restaurants. The apartment was in a great location right in the heart of the village with wonderful views from the balcony and was very clean and welcoming. Wherever you went, whether eating out or just walking, the views were always spectacular. The small shops had lovely fruit and vegetables and fresh crusty bread, although we ate out most of the time! The five minute bus ride into the coastal town of Nerja was very cheap at 1 euro and well worth a visit. We came back home feeling very chilled and intend to return next year.

A gem of an apartment in Frigilina

We have just returned from staying at this super accommodation. From the moment we were greeted by our hosts, Sharon & Debbie; they showed us around, gave us tips and advice about local amenities and were on hand to answer any questions.

The apartment itself is beautifully appointed; the furniture, lighting and decorative artwork are all in excess of the ‘norm’ and contribute to a homely and relaxed ambience.

The swimming pool is a well-kept private facility, a short 50 metre walk away. It is a good size with sunbeds provided; suitable cushions and parasols are stored in the apartment – an added consideration for guests.

Parking can be hit and miss but, given that it is free and in such a beautiful location, we are not surprised it can be at a premium in peak times; it is nothing that a little patience and maybe a short walk cannot rectify.

Some street noise does exist but given that we are in the heart of a vibrant village community it is not intolerable. Also, this has to be balanced against the stunning views from the balcony / bedrooms so we thought some isolated ‘noise’ was a price worth paying.

Going by comments left in the guest book visitors rate this property very highly and, in our opinion, rightly so. Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

Having stayed in Frigiliana many times and in several different accommodations Happy Mantra was certainly one of the best. The views are stunning, the pool area is perfect and the location is so covenient for shopping, restaurants and bars and the local bus. A perfect place to chill.

Fabulous apartment in Frigiliana

This was our second visit to this fabulous apartment. It is ideally located for accessing everything that Frigiliana has to offer. The apartment is very well appointed with a lovely balcony, and fabulous views down the valley to the sea. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough, and will certainly be going back.

Our apartment is perfectly located in the centre of Frigiliana village with NO steep climbs as the apartment is just 13 steps up from the main street!

Therefore ALL amenities (shops, bars, restaurants) are within a couple of minutes walking distance. We are located on the MA-5105 main road almost directly opposite the Frigiliana gymnasium, and the apartment benefits from the wonderful sea views from both balcony and terrace. Frigiliana has been voted the most beautiful Andalucian Village for more than 5 consecutive years. It's stunning white washed buildings are home to 2,300 people, yet it never feels crowded apart from on special Fiesta occasions! It has an abundance of choice with it's nearest beaches situated along the coastline towards Torrox or Nerja which is the closest, very popular large town (approx. 10 minutes drive by car). Burriana Beach is very lively with many bars & restaurants (approx 20 mins).

Travel:

Frigiliana is a 55 min. drive north by car, car hire is very popular, alternatively, buses can be taken direct from Malaga to Nerja (approximately 1 hour) with one change at Nerja for the next bus into the heart of Frigiliana (approximately 14 minutes). Buses can be taken from Nerja to Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla, Almeria. Taxi's from Malaga Airport to Frigiliana cost approx. 75 Euro's one way & taxi's from Frigiliana to Nerja cost approx. 15 Euro one way. Reg. local buses cost 1 Euro each way.

Distances:

There are many local supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants serving all varieties of cuisine within a short walk throughout the beautiful village of Frigiliana. For example, there is a fabulous coffee bar with indoor & outdoor seating just 30 seconds from the apartment and a well stocked convenience store just 1 minute away. The newly equipped gym is directly across the road from the apartment. A large well know supermarket chain can be located midway between Frigiliana and Nerja (6 kms).

Frigiliana is a stunningly beautiful, charming, superbly located, award winning village, just 3 kms from the main A7 motorway when driving south towards Malaga, and approximately 6 kms inland from the beaches and town of Nerja. Nestled at the base and upwards into the Sierra Almijara mountains, it is approx. 450m above sea level. It benefits from both mountain and sea views and offers great variety to the adventurous traveller, whilst providing the perfect escape for those seeking a relaxing getaway from the hassles of daily life! The local residents take great pride in their village and there is an abundance of flowers & bougainvilla stocked wrought iron balconies and terraces, even door steps, throughout the fascinating winding cobbled streets which lead from one end of the village to the other, it is simply the most unique and wonderful of the many Andalucian villages. Once visited, the beauty of Frigiliana is never forgotten. The village is popular with coach tours during the summertime when footfall increases around it's wonderful streets. There are ample opportunities to relax & enjoy the local wines & cuisines, restaurants cater for all tastes, a 'Foodie Heaven'!There is a fully working historic molases/honey factory which stands at the heart of central Frigiliana, (the local bus which runs to & from Nerja can be taken from just below this grand old factory). The village is surrounded by the country side, playing host to the many advocado & olive plantations.

Air conditioning units which provide both hot and cold in each of the two bedrooms are available as an OPTIONAL EXTRA of £70 per each week of stay / £10.00 per day. Please ensure you confirm prior to arrival, whether or not you require the use of air conditioning / heating. Thanks
