We fell in love with this undiscovered part whilst on holiday. Stunning scenery food people beach mountains . We started looking for a property to buy as a future retirement home and found Casa del Sogno. We have lovingly restored it over the last 12 years, and have enjoyed many memorable holidays here with our family and friends. We look forward to welcoming you to our family home and hope you will enjoy all the home comforts and personal touches we have added over the years that reflect our love of travel , culture , fun friendships and love of life & laughter

Guestbook comments from the manager

We have celebrated two important family occasions in the Casa del Sogno and cannot recommend it too highly.

The villa stands in a beautiful position overlooking the valley and across to the Sybelline Mountains so that you have stunning views in every direction from the garden of the villa. The house is maintained to the highest standards and is extremely comfortable . the swimming pool is large for a holiday property and towels are provided for pool use. There is a most attractive dining room which in two visits of two weeks each we never used as we ate outside every day either in the loggia or under the awning by the side of the house. In the evenings we watched the fireflies dancing in the garden and enjoyed the warmth of an Italian summer.

The small mountain town of San Ginesio has plenty of shops for food and a number of cafes for when the shopping gets too much !

We found the people of the area very friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket not too far away down the hill and also a good baker.

We were a family with 6 adults, 2 teenagers and a 10 year old. The pool was a great attraction for the children and the loungers by the pool were a great attraction for the adults and ,it has to be said , for the teenage granddaughter.

It is necessary to have a car to get to San Ginesio and the various attractions in the area.

We had some wonderful days at Lake Fiastra , where the more active of the group kayaked and swam We walked some of the local walks, we visited monasteries, Roman remains, small villages and were never at a loss for something to do . Interestingly we never visited the coast as we were too busy relaxing or doing other things.

One of our sons- in - law is a mountain walker and he spent time in the Sybelline mountains occasionally staying overnight in a refugio. We also had a day birdwatching in the Sybelline National Park with an excellent ornithologist guide, to celebrate an important birthday.

There is much more one could say but suffice to say we loved our visits to the villa and hope one day we might go again to enjoy the lovely countryside of Le Marche.

A beautiful Villa and location

  • 5 of 5

This is the first time that we have stayed in this area of Italy. The House Manager met us in San Ginesio and took us to the Villa which was great after a long drive. The photo's of the Villa do not do it complete justice. You have to stay their to get the full beauty of the location. Great facilities, Pool was fantastic together with the outdoor seating, double barbecue. All of our party 11 in total thought that the views breathtaking from early in the morning or evening when the sun went down, you couldn't get enough of it.

Its such a peaceful location yet the Cafe's and Shops are just 5 minutes away and check them out either in San Ginesio or the main road they sell everything. Cafe's sell bread and great Pizza's. Local restaurants even better, no menu's they tell you what they have in and how they can cook it. Its all great and would not hesitate to recommend not just this Villa but the whole area as well. I could go on and on.

Book a holiday you will not be disappointed.

What a beautiful place to stay, a real gem

  • 5 of 5

I recently stayed at Casa del Sogno for a long weekend. I had never been to this part of Italy before, it is truly stunning. I have stayed at many holiday homes over the years and this house is a real home from home, with lots of personal touches that make it a very relaxing and comfortable place to switch off. The location is even better than we expected with the most breathtaking views from literally every window. The house and gardens are really well maintained and the pool and deck area are great. Although in a very private and rural location, it is just a 10 minute drive to San Ginesio which has all you need, and only half an hour to some beautiful beaches - what more do you need! I can't wait to return.

Heavenly retreat

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at Casa del Sogno a number of times over the last 5-6 years and have never been disappointed. We have stayed in summer, winter (local ski resort nearby - all the benefits of skiing without the expense of a big resort - ideal if you just want to try it out with the kids!) and spring (our most recent stay, a short break just to get away from it all and recharge our batteries!). Whether you choose to sit by the pool and enjoy the serenity of the mountain location or pop into the nearby town buzzing with local colour and charm the location has something for everyone. You can also squeeze in a day's outing to the beach if you have a car. The house is very tastefully decorated and there's a grand piano and an open log fire in the living room for those family evenings in - all in all the perfect holiday place for us - we keep going back for more!

Stunning !!

  • 5 of 5

This was the most relaxing holiday we've had in years. As soon as you arrive and see the view of the Siblini mountains you know you've chosen your holiday destination very well indeed. The house has been very tastefully and carefully updated without losing its Italian charm. It's well equipped and very spacious. The swimming pool is more than adequate in size and very well maintained. The local town is only a five minute drive away where there is a supermarket. This is useful because you need to stock up as you won't want to leave the stunning view for too long !!!

We will be back......

What a place!

  • 5 of 5

When you arrive at this beautiful villa you have an overwhelming feeling of serenity as you stand looking at the 360 degree view of hills and mountains in silence.

You could argue it is in a slightly awkward place if you have children or teenagers that want to get about on their own but when you have a car it is only a short drive to the nearest town (which is very , beach and to the mountains.

We had a great time here and enjoyed it for lots of reasons but mainly because of how unique it was in comparison to our usual holiday destinations. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a cultural, fun, relaxing and eye opening holiday!
