2 bedroom spacious apartment in the heart of Windermere

Situated in the heart of Windermere with the added bonus of private parking space. Whilst maintaining many original features the apt also has a great clean modern finish done to a high standard. Gas central heating. Linen provided.No pets or smoking allowed. 2 large bedrooms. One with double bed and 2nd bedroom 2 twin beds. The spacious lounge also features fireplace (only for show) and large glass chandelier. It also has dining table and four chairs.

Fantastic!

Had a wonderful time, a stunning apartment in a fantastic location! Just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Windermere and 20 minutes down the hill to the lake. My partner and I love the Lake District and we usually try different places to stay but we will definitely be back!

Large spacious property with everything you would need for a break away with a family.

Close to many walks and restaurants. Clean tidy property , we stayed here with our 2 boys very spacious and roomy. Have passed on recommendations to friends would love to come again .

Great size and location.

We took three kids (7rs, 5 yrs and 9 months). There was plenty of room, location was great 5 minutes to the shops of Windermere and right on the main road for easy access to other areas.

Will definitely use again.

Great access to the Lakes

Had a very enjoyable stay in Windermere thanks to Jane & Darren. The pictures are accurate and it seems to have been renovated recently. The flat was clean and quiet. It is easily accessible from the main road and has parking (would be tight for a big car) round the back. Jane was very prompt at replying to any queries and provided the necessary info in plenty of time for our stay. Payment via bank transfer was quick and straightforward and the deposit was returned immediately after a quick check from the cleaner.

It provides great access to Ambleside (5-10 min drive ) and further into the Lakes and is walking distance to Windermere bars/restaurants, Windermere rail station, supermarkets and even Bowness (20 min walk).

Would definitely recommend this to a friend / come back here myself!

The Lake District is full of activities, from walking in the hills to sailing on the many Lakes. Windermere itself is stocked with excellent restaurants,local shops, 3 supermarkets and plenty of pubs to tempt you out. The orrest head walk is opposite the apt where views of the lake are stunning.
