Only an hour from home by car.We love the Lake District for the walking,lakes and fine dining and fell in love with the apt and the area.

Many great walks , bars, restaurants on the doorstep.

Further Details:

The Lake District is full of activities, from walking in the hills to sailing on the many Lakes. Windermere itself is stocked with excellent restaurants,local shops, 3 supermarkets and plenty of pubs to tempt you out. The orrest head walk is opposite the apt where views of the lake are stunning.
