Coastline apartment 15 is a 1st floor beautiful cliff top apartment with amazing views across Whipsiderry and Porth beach. Located on the coastal path between Porth and Watergate Bay this 2 bedroom dog friendly apartment has stunning views from the open plan lounge, diner and kitchen as well as the master bedroom. Porth Beach is a short stroll of less than 5 minutes away and has beach stores, a general store, a pub/restaurant on the beach as well as several small cafe bars and bistros. Coastline is located on the cliffs at Whipsiderry and the very private dog friendly beach is directly below. Watergate Bay is a 15 minute walk along the stunning coastal path. Perfect for couples and families who enjoy the beach, sunsets, walking and relaxing.

Dogs are accepted free of charge.

Please note that there is no lift access at Coastline.

Why Louise Cooke chose Porth

I fell in love with Porth and the surrounding coastline. It was a great escape from the bright lights of Newquay town but close enough to enjoy its facilities and many beaches.

I love the peace of Porth and the amazing sunsets :)

What makes this apartment unique

Our favourites days at Coastline are spent waking up to the sound and smells of the ocean.

If you prefer a more secluded beach then the local hidden gem is Whipsiderry beach which is opposite the apartment down several sets of steps. The kids and dogs love the rock pools and its sheltered beautifully against the Atlantic winds. If friends with younger children visit that prefer a gentle stroll to the ocean then head to Porth Beach to enjoy the river, rock pools and the lifeguards.

You can spend lunch at the Mermaid pub on the beach for traditional lunch or for the more adventurous adults and children aged 14+ there is a seasonal spanish tapas bar with outdoor seating overlooking Porth Beach.

As we are based on the coastal path Watergate Bay is a 15 minute stroll along the clifftops. Our favourite summer walk is an early evening stroll to Watergate Bay to watch the sunset with a glass of wine.

Special interest holidays:

Porth is the perfect location for anybody wanting to enjoy watersports.

Porth itself is perfect for kayaking, body boarding and paddle boarding with a life guard during the day time from May - September. For those wanting to try their hand at surfing Watergate offers lessons for beginners with hire of equipment available.

For experienced surfers there is great surf on your doorstep at Whipsiddery.

Coast/Beach:

Coastline 15 is located on the cliff tops at Whipsiderry Beach. Access is via a set of steep steps. When the tide is out you can walk to Watergate Beach in under 15 minutes. If you prefer a gentle stroll you can walk along the coastal path to Watergate Bay in 20 minutes. Both Whipsiderry and Watergate are dog friendly all year round. Porth Beach is excellent for families with a pub on the beach, ice cream parlour and cafe bar. You can walk down the hill in a few minutes and can park on the beach

Travel:

Coastline is in a great location for guests wishing to fly in to Newquay Airport as its approximately 6 minutes away in a cab. Newquay Airport has many car hire companies based in the terminal.

Distances:

Its a short drive of approximately 6 minutes into Newquay or if you prefer to walk across Porth Beach it would take approximately 20 minutes to the edge of town. Watergate Bay is a short drive of 3 minutes away and Padstow takes 20 minutes.

Further Details:

Porth itself has several stores including a general stores and beach store. You can get food and drinks at the Mermaid pub and coast cafe. For couples eating without children there is also an adult only spanish tapas bar (over 14s only).

Outside: Coastline has 2 communal gardens with picnic tables for all to enjoy. One is enclosed and overlooks the ocean so is perfect for little ones. Utility Room: Coastline has a washer/dryer. There is also a communal drying area to hang your washing out Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All house towels and linen are included. You will need to bring beach towels. If you are staying for 2 weeks a linen and towel change half way through will be provided.

Booking Notes:

Provisional bookings held for 7 days. Non refundable deposit of 33% taken if booking is more than 8 weeks away. If booking is within 8 weeks of arrival date the full balance is required.

We accept credit and debit cards (at 2.29%) BACS or cheque payments.

A cheque or card detail is held against a £200 security bond. This amount is not taken unless there is damage or excessive cleaning costs.

Changeover Day:

The changeover day is flexible unless its high season. High season changeover day is Sat - Sat. Arrival time is after 1530 and departure by 0930 unless a prior arrangement has been made.

Notes on prices:

Dogs are charged at £15 each per dog per week. 1 travel Cot and highchair is provided free of charge.
