'Chudleigh' is a comfortable home sleeping from 2 people and up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms and is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac situated in the heart of town. A stones throw away from the Promenade, Sandy beaches, the shops, Swanage Steam Railway, Bus Station, Post Office, Conservative Club, pubs and restaurants are all just a minutes walk away. Centrally located and easy access to everything Swanage has to offer.

Parking is on the road and Cornwall Road is unrestricted but does have limited spaces and is on a first come basis.

'Chudleigh' been described as a good old fashioned seaside holiday cottage.

We are both originally from London. We moved & married in Swanage 33 years ago. We have 3 grown up children who have enjoyed growing up in this beautiful part of the country.

Why this Location?

I (Lynn) was introduced to Swanage as a young child as my father had been evacuated here during the war and his ambition was to live here which he eventually did, with my mother.

'Chudleigh' was my parents home for 25 years and now been passed onto myself. We have carefully renovated this house to make the most for a comfortable holiday in our favourite town.

Part week bookings of up to 4 nights (off peak times only) will be charged at 3/4 weekly rate. Parking in Cornwall Road and the next road along (Eldon Terrace) are unrestricted on a first come basis. Once you are parked there is no need to use the car as you are in the centre of town. Outside: At the rear of the cottage is a courtyard garden with tables chairs and a BBQ, Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Saturday changeover and thoroughly cleaned between lets. Very clean, very pleasant property, location was really good, very impressed

We stayed in Chudleigh for the Swanage Blues Festival in October.

The owners have made a great effort to provide a really clean, tidy and very comfortable cottage.

Lovely cottage, amazingly convenient location

We had a wonderful week with our two young boys (6 and 3) and their Granny staying at Chudleigh, which is in a perfect location for a family like ours which doesn't want to use the car much, and gives the option to stroll to the (very close-by) beach at different times to suit the needs of each. The cottage was very well appointed, with super-comfy beds and made very homely by toys and games, and even a few DVDs. We will definitely go back and strongly recommend.

just amazing!

Really beautiful house! everything is inside. Everything is clean!

house is child friendly. There is possible to make a barbecue.

Just few steps from the sea. Lovely and beautiful village. Two big stores around, a lot of pubs and delicious bakery!

There is possible for car parking, neighbor are friendly and helpful!

Another wonderful holiday at Chudleigh!

This was the second time that our extended family of four adults and two young children stayed at Chudleigh. As before, the house was magnificently appointed for family occupation with excellent décor and extensive facilities. As we enjoyed glorious weather we were able to have a barbecue in the back garden.

The location of the property is wonderful, especially if rented in conjunction with a beach hut. If you forget anything, it only involves a five minute walk.

The attitude of the owners had been excellent throughout. When I reported a minor matter with a curtail rail there was an instant friendly response.

The final recommendation must be that we have immediately booked for 2018.

Prices include all utilities (gas, electricity and water). We also ask for a £200 damages/excessive cleaning deposit, refundable within 14 days of departure.
PLEASE NOTE WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT FULL WEEK BOOKINGS IN PEAK TIMES
Booking notes-
A deposit of one third of the price of the holiday is required when booking the holiday, the balance due eight weeks prior to the start of the holiday.
A damages deposit of £200 is required, refunded within 14 days of departure.
